Got a livre fairy handle from my girlfriend as a gift. Haven't had a chance to use it yet but i do like how it looks. Does anyone have any experience swapping the knob to a wooden knob?

First time using this set up I recently got, and it was a hell of a fight but fun as hell! Zebco Trout seeker, seaguar 6lb, googan squad spoon.

havent seen it on here so wanted to share.

its not really finesse but its awesome for whippy bfs rods like most of you use.

its action is wonderful and the price is very fair compared to a lot of bfs specific or otherwise boujee brand lures.

the only real downsides are that its a light weight floating bait. it must be retrieved the whole time and it can be difficult to cast due to it catching air.

I used it for a few hours today under docks and around grass and caught my biggest sunfish as well as a 3 other sunnies, 3 LM, 2 rock bass, 2 black crappie and a perch. most of which on the j05 brown trout, switched to rust crickhopper afterward.

funnest catch of the day was LM around 3lb. I normally switch between my regular casting combos and this (CQBFS 17/bouyancy 7' UL) so going double digits on only ultralight bfs was a blast.

I already have the Vanford c2000shg for about over a month or two. Then I decide I want more. So i ordered Vanquish c2000shg and I just got it. From what i experience between these two reels, the Vanquish reeling feels a bit smoother like when you turn the handle and quickly release it, it spin a bit longer than the Vanford. Also the drag sound... Much better on the Vanquish. More solid sounding and satisfying. Like it's screaming for attention lol. So far satisfied with my purchase although I admit it doesn't get as 2x good as the Vanford compared to their price. But definitely there's noticable improvement and thus give more satisfaction during UL fishing session.😁

Trying to see what hook type and size is best to replace the stock leydun 1.5 g crankbait a little over 1 inch in length***.*** Current hooks are too large

This is my UL setup that I use to fish in Lithuania:
Crazy Fish Banzai rod 1,5-8 g
Shimano Sedonna 2500 reel
The perch was cought in the river, tought it was pyke, but to my surprise it was perch.

I started using poppers, hard jerk and crankbaits. Caught this guy on a teeny popper from strike kings.

I have never even caught a carp before and obviously was not targeting them, but this guy absolutely smoked my pink trout magnet today at the creek. I was casting near some cover I felt a twitch, set it, and he grabbed that thing and ran, pulling drag on my 4 lb line like crazy. It was definitely the wildest fight I've had ultralight fishing yet and was happy to land him after losing two fish at the bank before this. Anyone guesstimate size? I didn't have a scale or tape. My net is 16" x 13" if that helps but it's pretty deep too.

Of really incredible and awesome new shapes and sizes of these supercontinent soft plastics off of Ali express. So far I've tested 1 of the craw shapes and a bug shape that isn't pictured here and these are literal crack to the fish on a 3.5g jig head. Or a size 1 wide gap.

I catch big walleye, salmon, pike. But catching these lil guys on a lil rod is a blast!
