First popper catch!

I started using poppers, hard jerk and crankbaits. Caught this guy on a teeny popper from strike kings.

Fun fight with the tatula

Caught this funnlittle fish that was pulling crazy line at marina del rey. Is it a yellowfin croaker or a baby white sea bass??

Tatula xt 2pc 6’4” UL

Upgraded from the presso to this. The presso was a good rod but i wanted to try something with more backbone and more control over my small jigs and im so far loving this tatula. Really stiff and a super fast tip. Also its absolutely beautiful and sleek looking.

Shakespeare micro series

Testing out this new cheap rod from big 5 and had one of the best fights ive ever had in a land time. It’s technically a light power rod but i spooled it with 6lb j-braid grand and a 1/16oz jighead with micro trd. i saw a video with victor from ifish reviewing it and i just had to try it. Totally worth the money lol

Unconventional lures

Im curious about what you guys throw out that isn’t normally considered ultralight and have caught fish with it on your ul rod.

Plano 3600 deep modified

I love the deep variants of the plano boxes. But with the 3600 there wasnt a version without the partitions. So i cutted out some of the sections to fit my favorite lures and honestly this worked out alot better than just a hollowed out plano box.
