I have a faint recollection of this. The opening sequence had someone living in a bunker with an automatic machine gun sentry. Also commentary by one of the characters or perhaps on their news channel about new diseases and they were worried about either national or personal stockpiles of antibiotics. That's pretty much all I can remember. As a kid I had a higher expectation of a new scifi show and remember feeling disappointed that there was a lot of talk and not much action. It was a British show with British actors and I think was a one-off.
