Disabling HW Overlays causes CPU/GPU frequencies to spike (S25 Ultra)

Hi everyone, I've noticed a specific behavior on my S25 Ultra after updating to One UI 8.5.(I don't know if that was the case before the update) When I enable the "Disable HW overlays" option in the Developer Options (forcing the system to always use the GPU for screen compositing), I’ve observed through monitoring apps (like DevCheck and CPU-Z) that: Small Cluster (CPU): All 6 small cores immediately jump to their maximum frequency and stay locked there. GPU: The frequency increases to a fixed, higher value (around 443 MHz in my case) instead of idling at the minimum (160 MHz). The device feels significantly more snappy and responsive, but as a result, it runs noticeably hotter and the battery drains much faster. When I re-enable hardware overlays, the frequencies immediately drop back to normal. Has anyone else noticed this behavior on the S25 series or with the new One UI 8.5 update? Is this a known optimization "trick" or just a lack of software tuning for this specific setting? Curious to hear your thoughts!
