Upgraded to this beast after using 5 years my oppo reno 6 to it's last breath 🥲. My first flagship phone.

I'm very happy with this phone. Camera is superb, just sometimes issue in focus on subject. Feel free to give advices 😊

Still happy with the S25U

I just want to say that even though Google released a new phone and the S27 comes out next year, I'm still very happy and satisfied with my phone. I won't lie. I was tempted to trade in this phone on a Pixel 11 Pro because I wanted a change and pre-order deals are pretty good. But it's so easy to just throw on a custom launcher and icon pack and theme to make my S25U look like one. And to change cases. I currently have like 7 cases for my phone that I like to switch out when I want a new look and feel.

Is anyone else out there tempted by the new phones coming out to trade in your S25U or are you still happy with your phone? I keep my phone flawless so there's no scratches or anything on it. Sometimes I do wish for a simpler phone or even something a little smaller and lighter. But I don't have to use all the features and apps on my phone to appreciate it. At least they are there if I want to mess around with them. But it's not a reason to take on more debt.

Just turn developers settings off

Thank me later.

If u have enabled or changed anything. Just disable it.

For me, I had animation changed. I had to turn off developer settings ( for payment) and everything went to default. And damn the smoothness🫶. If you are busy, dont use phone too much, try it.

.

.

Geeks, its okay. I understand your stance💪

This is so frustrating

Suddenly for no reason whenever I plug my phone to charge it announces "battery charger connected" out loud and when I disconnect it announces "battery charger disconnected "x" percent remaining". This voice is driving me crazy. I had no idea how it got turned on and I checked accessibility options and can't figure out how to turn it off. Please does anyone know any solution to this

Any reason not the buy?

Title.

My S23U's gone for good (stolen) and I'm eyeing S25U as replacement. For long time users, is there anything worth considering before I buy?

Screen Damaged or Software glitch?

Can somebody please tell me the cause of this? Was just scrolling through socmed then placed my phone down the couch to get some water came back to it doing this. But if i restart the phone the black line then restarts from the top then works its way down to the bottom then screen goes black to green.

Things I have tried that didnt fix it:

• Safe Mode

• Lower refresh rate to 60Hz (Standard)

• Lower screen resolution to HD+

• Resetted settings alone

• Disabled HW overlays

• and lastly factory resetted it (same problem)

For context: This was given to me, passed down by my sibling 5 months ago. Always had that dead pixel on the bottom left corner hence why she upgraded. Screen has no cracks and frame has to dents.

My phone's charging port and charging pin is getting very hot.

While charging, the USB-C charging port and especially the metal end/pin of the charging cable become extremely hot. It gets so hot that it is almost unbearable to touch. Sometimes the phone even gives me a high-temperature warning and automatically stops charging.i have changed the cable and charger but nothing helps what should i do, i don't even know what causing the problem. My charging port is clean, and charger and cable is also original samsung.

Phone is samsung s25 ultra.

Top Performance & UI Tweaks S25 Ultra

Just realized that the Galaxy S25 Ultra has the default Window, Transition, and Animator scales settings very nice and smooth...but perhaps just a tad too slow. So I went into the developer options and changed all three from 1x to 0.5x to make opening apps and switching menus feel a little faster and snappier.

That's the only thing I did and I'm not sure but the battery life seem to have increased by 3 - 6 hous more or less. The phone is also snappier now!

Poked mic thinking that's sim eject on brand new S25 ultra 😭

I was over enthusiastic and didn't think twice. They shouldn't put that there

Silly question, who actually uses the 12mp mode when you have 50mp? Should Samsung get rid of the 12mp on the ultra models?

Best video setup for s25 series yet??

After many comparisons between the newer samsung series and the s25 and also all video modes of the s25 I've figured that this setup is the best to get the most realistic video possible, samsung tends to underexpose everything and makes the video generally darker, which for some reason compared to the older and newer series the video is darker, now for night videos no so sure about this setup but for daytime for me is the best.

S25 Ultra might break my "new phone every 2 years or so" rule - anyone else?

I like shiny new things but this phone, to this day, does everything I need it to. Performance is fantastic, photos are great for every day stuff, and titanium body gives me peace of mind. Unless the S27 is revolutionary, I don't see a need to upgrade.

Anyone else?

quite disappointed with the longetivity

I just had my S25 Ultra for about a week now and was hoping for the charge to last longer as what I've seen and read online. However, I only get about 5-6 hrs while others are saying to have it being used for 8-9 hrs in a single charge.

I tried optimizing the phone following the guides I came across here but to no avail, the issue still remains. I am still taken aback because even in idle mode, my phone loses around 4–6% of its charge overnight while I’m sleeping.

I also read a recent post mentioning that it's due to the July update causing the issue and with others also experiencing a similar problem.

Expert raw vs night mode s25

Is expert raw the way to go for night pictures? It seems expert raw handles scenes way more realisticly and even more pleasing to the eye while night mode always seems to underexpose and process everything way too much just to brighten its picture.
