Permanent FPS drop in Forza Horizon 6
Hey everyone, I started playing FH6 today and I was loving it until I encountered this issue. I’d like to know if any of you are experiencing the same problem.
Problem:
At first, the game runs perfectly smooth. I get around 120 FPS on Extreme settings with Ray Tracing enabled. However, after 15–20 minutes, the FPS drops to 70, then after another minute it falls to 60, and eventually it settles at around 52 FPS and stays there.
When I restart the game, the FPS is still low. The only way to get normal FPS again is by rebooting my PC, but after another 15–20 minutes, the same issue happens again.
What’s even stranger is that once the FPS drops from 120, changing the graphics settings no longer affects performance. Even if I lower the resolution and graphics settings to the minimum possible, it still stays locked at 52 FPS.
Things I tried:
Monitored CPU, GPU, and RAM usage along with temperatures — everything looked normal.
Verified/scanned the game files through Steam.
Reinstalled the GPU driver.
