IV OF SPADES announces US and Canada tour this October

IV OF SPADES is heading to North America October 3–18, hitting six cities: Vancouver, Enoch (Alberta), Toronto, Long Island, the SF Bay Area, and Redondo Beach — following the success of their nationwide Andalucia Tour here in the Philippines.

This is a real comeback story: the band went on hiatus from 2020–2024 while members pursued solo work, before regrouping with original member Unique Salonga in 2025 and releasing "Aura," later featured on their sophomore album Andalucia.

Genuinely great to see them touring internationally again after everything. Anyone here caught them live during the PH leg?

Greyhoundz teases what could be their final show, October 2027

Greyhoundz posted a cryptic 47-second teaser yesterday (August 11) mixing old performance clips and MVs, ending with "GREYHOUNDZ 30TH," "LAST HUHAAH!!!" and "OCTOBER 2027." The caption: "May mga minsan na walang next time" — hinting this could be their final show ever. No formal breakup has been confirmed yet.

Formed in 1996, the current lineup is Reg Rubio, Audie Avenido, Niño Avenido, and TJ Brillantes. Founding guitarist Allen Cudal passed away in 2004 and was never replaced. They're widely considered one of OPM's "Three Kings" of nu-metal alongside Queso and Slapshock.

Genuinely end of an era if this happens. Anyone here grew up on their music?

Nice to get a more personal side of them beyond the performances. Now streaming on demand via Apple Music.

Regine Velasquez named Billboard Philippines' 2026 Woman of the Year, marking 40 years in the industry

Billboard Philippines honored Regine Velasquez-Alcasid as Woman of the Year at this year's Women in Music event, recognizing four decades of work that's shaped what Filipino music sounds like today — from "Dadalhin" and "Pangako" to her renditions of "On the Wings of Love" and "Araw Gabi."

She's the third-ever recipient of the award, following BINI (2025) and Sarah Geronimo (2024) — and joins previous international Woman of the Year honorees like Madonna, Beyoncé, and Taylor Swift.

Feels especially meaningful with everything going on around her Finale Concert right now. 40 years is no small feat — truly the Songbird 🕊️

Which rising OPM acts do you think are having the biggest year so far?

There's been a lot of movement in the OPM scene lately — new acts breaking through, different sounds getting more mainstream traction, and some artists crossing over into wider Southeast Asian audiences.

Curious what this community's been paying attention to. Who do you think is having a standout year right now, and what's driving it — the music itself, social media presence, collabs, live performances?

Would love to hear different takes, especially if you've got acts on your radar that you think deserve more attention.
