Can we talk about why she left? Did she just not feel loved by Steve? I personally think Steve loved her to death but I think she wanted to be shown she was loved and maybe because of Doris he was never able to actually show her? There were plenty of times she voiced her disappointment. The episode where they are at the governors ball and talking about valentines gifts and her response to drug store candy was at least you got candy. Or when his car was highjacked and she asked if this is what he had in mind for an intimate meal. Or my favorite when they were fishing for tuna and he couldn’t bring himself to refer to her as his GF.
Plus after she came back for Kono’s wedding when they kept getting interrupted by the phone you could tell with the look on her face that she was always going to come second to his job. Or the pro bowl when she got tickets but he was already going with Danny.
He never really put her first aside from when she was in trouble and really needed him. Which showed me his intense love for her but I’m not sure she ever truly saw it or felt it.

At the end of season 2, episode 1 I believe, Jenna Kaye is the getaway vehicle for Wo Fat when he goes into prison to kill Victor. Up until then she is on Steve’s side and trying to hunt down Wo Fat as she blamed him for killing her fiancée. I know later she was convinced that the fiancée was alive because of the reporter but it wasn’t until episodes later and didn’t explain why she was in the car with him earlier. Did I miss something? Was this ever explained?

Hawaii Five-0 is literally my favorite tv show. Excited to find this group and other people who equally love it. I watch other shows from time to time but always find my way back here. Only reason I subscribe to paramount plus is to watch it. What are your favorite episodes? Mine are the ones with Dr. Gray. The other serial killer one where Chin goes missing. The one where Chin and Kono are trying to beat Steve and Danny back to the office and end up at the body dump. The way Steve was genuinely worried and how they both felt like it was the end for them. Also love the episode with Lynn and Melissa surprising them for Valentines Day I think? And the other serial killer one earlier on with Max and learning about his past. So many good ones! It’s just nice to watch it and see them grow as a family. Until season 7 when chin and kono leave. I usually start over at season 1 then. 🤣🤣 #hawaiifiveo
