First time Viewer with a question

I'm on season 6 and I have a question: Do they ever solve a case without beating or in some extreme cases shooting handcuffed suspects?

Jerry working at 5-0 didn't make sense

He was living in a basement and wary of all non-analog technology and worried about privacy. How was he all of a sudden okay with (and using), all the high tech of being on the team?! 🤔

Had they all their own office?

I’m rewatching the show right now (S6) and I have asked myself if they all got their own office in the palace. I guess no, cuz there weren’t enough separate offices, right?

Five O Trivia Night

Is anyone here interested in participating in a Five O trivia night if we had enough interest?

There’s a trivia sub we where we could learn how to do it. We’d probably need six or eight volunteers to moderate and come up with questions.

What do you guys think?

I always watch up until season 7 right before chin and kono leave, then I start the whole series over, I must’ve watched H50 over 20 times now. 5’0 isn’t the same without em

IMDb Trivia

So, I'm still in the middle of my full rewatch and for every episode I go on IMDb to look at the goofs and the trivia section. And I'm so confused that there's barely anything in the trivia aside from the translation of the episode titles, and that for a show that had ten seasons, aired weekly, and was pretty well known and liked from what I can gather. And I just can't help but think that most of the trivia has been deleted for whatever reason because I'm so sure that there was a lot more on there when I did my last full watch in 2020.

So does anybody know more about that? Do I just misremember (maybe I just read too much outside of IMDb)? Or did a lot of the trivia actually vanish? Though then I'd be really curious as to why the show got so few entries.

I cried when Joe died. Not at at all when Doris did.

Anyone else feel like her being gone was high key a relief?

Like it definitely sucked because she was Steve's mom and all. But like...she was always causing some needlessly dramatic shit or other. 🤔

Catherine Rollins

Can we talk about why she left? Did she just not feel loved by Steve? I personally think Steve loved her to death but I think she wanted to be shown she was loved and maybe because of Doris he was never able to actually show her? There were plenty of times she voiced her disappointment. The episode where they are at the governors ball and talking about valentines gifts and her response to drug store candy was at least you got candy. Or when his car was highjacked and she asked if this is what he had in mind for an intimate meal. Or my favorite when they were fishing for tuna and he couldn’t bring himself to refer to her as his GF.
Plus after she came back for Kono’s wedding when they kept getting interrupted by the phone you could tell with the look on her face that she was always going to come second to his job. Or the pro bowl when she got tickets but he was already going with Danny.
He never really put her first aside from when she was in trouble and really needed him. Which showed me his intense love for her but I’m not sure she ever truly saw it or felt it.

Wo Fat / Jenna Kaye

At the end of season 2, episode 1 I believe, Jenna Kaye is the getaway vehicle for Wo Fat when he goes into prison to kill Victor. Up until then she is on Steve’s side and trying to hunt down Wo Fat as she blamed him for killing her fiancée. I know later she was convinced that the fiancée was alive because of the reporter but it wasn’t until episodes later and didn’t explain why she was in the car with him earlier. Did I miss something? Was this ever explained?
