Lost wax casting question

Hi there, i am really new to lost wax/ investment casting and am unsure what investment powder to buy. i am planning on casting both wax (either injection or ferris) and resin (Siraya Tech Cast) and ideally would like to use the same investment for both! i am uk based as well so can afford to import R&R.

Any pointers would be much appreciated!

Lost wax / investment casting machine help!

I am looking to switch from sand casting to lost wax casting and am confused with the price difference between machines. I have seen some cheap machines for £300 - £400 but cant find any reviews. Is it worth getting ones of these cheaper machines or should i just invest £1200 into a kaya cast.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

Aluminium Extrusion Work Desk Suitability

I am looking to build a work bench to put some heavy jewellery casting equipment on (70kg approx). I want to make it out of 3030 aluminium extrusion (4040 is too expensive) but am unsure if it will be strong enough. I have been looking into using X braces (image below) to stiffen up the construction but honestly have no clue if it will help. General dimensions of the desk - 2000mm length x 700 mm depth x 900mm height. Any advice / thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
