Hi I am in mid 30s and I've been with cold sores since middle school. Every time I am stressed and fatigued they show up. I currently have 2 active ones and I am pretty upset. I wanted us to share with each other our experiences.

1. How often do you get them?

> I get one or two every year. Summer time is usually worse likely due to the heat.

2. Can you tell before breakout?

> I almost always do.

3. What medicine do you use and how effective is it?

> I use Canpho Phenique 3-4 times a day, and it feels pretty effective. But it gets white and unsightly.

4. Any other supplements or treatment you do?

> I try to take 3,000 - 4,000mg of Lysine supplements.
