I've found this film on an old cine film found it the attic. I am looking at the Wikipedia list of films but cant work out which one it is. Was it renamed in the UK or something? Its about 3mins 30 secs long
I really like the green DMG display option that the budude GB core has, it has an authentic feel and is very clear. As good as it is, I still feel I'm playing on a modern device due to the clarity of all the pixels.
Not that it affects my enjoyment of playing, but similar to the way I like using console emulators that have a good CRT scanline effect, I do like to get the game playing as it did at the time.
So I saw the posts about brickboy here, and thought I'd try it.
I took a quick look here, and thought it did an absolutely amazing job of replicating how I remember the Game Boy

So installing the analogue core with pupdate (https://github.com/kathoc/brickboy-dmg-fpgacore) I tried Super Mario Land.
Whilst it has a lot of settings to tweak if you want to, the main ones are either 'realistic' (green screen) or 'authentic'. Its the realistic one that I remember, and played with that.

As you can see in the screenshots it does an amazing job of making the display emulate exactly how the original DMG would look.
The issue is that its bad.
It makes you need to concentrate more to make out detail, and any movement on the screen has that slight ghosting/blur, its harder to play, you find yourself squinting and just a little bit frustrated. But its so accurate.
I love it and I hate it.
Just wondering given the quantity and type of film here, what would be the options to get them converted to digital. Am in the UK.
Its just sentimental value, but could a restorer recover this or is it too far gone?
If so, I could find a local restorer rather than a specialist on Omega?

I fully appreciate this may well not be of interest to many people, but I just got carried away with my calculator whilst getting annoyed with Tax.
If a landlord has a 4 bed HMO, and one of the rooms is empty could he move in and use it as his main residence? Is that allowed (assuming it genuinely becomes his main residence).
Would that then make the tenants become lodgers? Or would they retain their tenant status?
Or, slight twist on above, what if he moves in and uses that as a process to ask existing tenants to leave.
Then once they have left he could get lodgers to move in?
