While newer and a lot better versions are already available ?

3.3.5 is the perfect example, it's been available for a long time already, and still far better than 1.12

ps : I'm talking about server still in development, not already launched, because I know it would take time to move to 3.3.5 and up.

ps : it's a serious question, just to know the reasons.

Or got any advice / opinion on it ? looks interesting.
