Please! Desperate for advice

I’m very new at riding and also ignore my pink pants 😭 it was freezing out but I can never stay on the saddle while cantering and how can I be more direct with the horse/ give commands I was slightly pulling on the reins so he was go slower then I would make him speed up again I realized I was giving mixed signals so I tried to loosen up on the reins but I kept sliding back and forth so I’d pull a bit and js a repeating cycle how can I fix this? Any advice helps

I’m a senior in high school I graduate December because I do online school and I’m thinking of going to community college to learn some type of therapy. I’m really so confused on what I wanna do. I really wanted to work in equine therapy, but it doesn’t pay too much and I really want to be stable. I love animals, but I can’t be a vet because never been good at biology. Not good with numbers. i’m just so confused also I really don’t want to be deep in debt. Any advice helps
