Started walking 8K a day

Hey everyone! This is sort of my own accountability post. I started a walking goal of 8K steps a day just so I’ll stay more consistent because I’ve noticed when 10 is my goal and I only make 8 I’m disappointed and want to stop. I’m currently 5’3 207 lbs with a pretty muscular build but I know I have a lot of fat to lose. I go to the gym at least 3 times a week and hit weights and cardio but I only walk a mile on 9 incline at 2.5 speed. I wouldn’t say I have the worst diet, I don’t eat out much at all but I do like snacking and having a Halo Top after dinner.
We’ll see after a few months of hitting 8-10K steps a day and not changing my diet if there’s a change.
I’ll keep you guys updated.
