He was about 33 years old here. My dad got him about 5 years before I was born and we grew up best mates. I moved away for work in my early 20s and he wasn't getting as much attention as deserved, so he's now living out the rest of his days with lots of friends at Lincolnshire Wildlife Park.
Went to see him about 6 months after and none of the birds responded or came up to the side of the aviary, tried for ages! I think I could tell which one he was, sat on a rope staring from the back, but I can't be 100% sure as there were hundreds of birds. The keepers said rehomed parrots often ignore their previous owners so at least its not just me.
