Resident evil 2 and 3 (1998 and 1999 ) are masterpieces..
I played resident evil 2 (1998) before playing the remake and I honestly cannot decide which one I like more, I think both are solid 10/10s but I wanted to talk about the original, I never had problems with tank controls and fixed camera angles, I honestly love them ! Resident evil 2 is the perfect example of a survival horror game it has everything and more, I hate the sewers, I will not lie but I guess it makes it be what it is if that makes sense, I thought this game was very easy and when I entered the remake I noticed the difficulty difference, The puzzles are simple mostly being using keys and keys and keys then solving simple combinations which isnt really a bad thing, I also played the B scenario and I liked the zapping system very much. Great experience, If you haven't played this game don't let yourself not enjoy this game because of the cameras just go for it, it is very easy to learn.
Resident evil 3 ( 1999 ) Was also a great experience, not as good as resident evil 2, Won't lie but I like nemesis better than Mr. X ( In the originals ) Nemesis sucks in the remake, He isn't scary, Turned into a dog way toooo quickly, Underwhelming..
I won't talk about the remake but I also played it, The original is better in every single way.
Resident evil 3: Nemesis is HARD, I really suffered with the last 2 bosses, the zombies are also faster, the clocktower is amazing, the factory is not that great but it's not too bad and works very well, This game is also very good in terms of being a "survival" horror but it's more action paced which means it's not really a survival horror but at the same time is because I found myself saving recourses because I would need them later, It's a great game tho and I prefered the puzzles in this game over the 2nd game.
Overall, both great experiences. I still haven't played the 1st game but I will get it once it drops to 50% discount on PSN, I'll come back and make a review on that as well.
