Thumping sound while idle and driving
Just for context I'm a student at a technical campus for automotive but it's only my first year so I'm not super experienced yet, I bought this car (2010 Honda Civic Coupe) with 60k miles about two weeks ago. The car drove fine at first but since yesterday I've heard this thumping near the back of my car, it usually happens when I first start the car, and then when going over bumps or turning, the handling is good (I haven't noticed wheel shimmy/shake). Also the sound seems to almost disappear at high speeds (60+ mph), the only time I'll hear it on the highway is if there is a pothole or a big bump. The video shows the sound inside of the vehicle and the general area of where the sound is coming from. I hope someone can help me with this because I'm busy the next few days and I don't have my mechanic friend to help me until at least the weekend.
