I put Tempus 2 insoles in SuperBlast 3s and it's perfect - will I regret this?

I've been picking up distance to around 60-70km / week and my Tempus 2s, that I loved, were at around 850km and ready to be retired. I decided to "treat myself" to Super Blast 3s since I was starting to add more longer runs in the 30km range to my weekly rotation. For the first 50km or so, the shoes felt good, but I felt a bit of overpronation on just my right foot. Nothing so bad that I was in pain, but enough that it was distracting.

I figured it was mostly just something to get used to since I knew the Tempus 2s had more support than these did. On a whim, I took the insoles out of the Tempus 2s and put them in the SuperBlast 3s and it is perfect. The shoes disappear in my mind, legs feel great, still have the same cushion as before.

The T2 insoles are maybe 2-3mm shorter than the SB3 insoles, but I don't notice nor feel anything moving around.

This is the first time I've ever used insoles from one shoe (and an entirely different brand) in another. Anybody else done this before and is it "ok" or is it something that could cause injury or issues that are hiding in waiting?
