Am I the only one getting MAJOR Merlin vibes from this character intro?

Not even in a bad way. Specifically Merlin arriving in Camelot in episode 1. The hairstyle, the backpack/traveler look, the red scarf/neck accent, the “young outsider arriving somewhere important” framing… it immediately reminded me of Merlin’s first entrance.

I actually kind of love it if it was intentional because it feels more like homage/inspiration than copying. It just hit me instantly and now I can’t unsee it 😭

Anybody else notice this or am I reaching?
