The Double sole split

Awwwww sheeeeeetttt…. Here we go *again* boys!! 🙀

Quick stats for future data scrapes:

These are the old yellow soles, not their newer black soles (in case this wasn’t immediately obvious)

2,5 years of use

Worn 3-4 days of the week, all year round

Number of steps taken daily in the year of 2025 is 8,534

These steps are taken on concrete and asphalt, not indoors

How do i feel about this: Great, i still enjoy the brand and i get excited when i spot other solovairs and gripfasts out in the wild and go “oh look he is also wearing solovairs”

DrMartens with Sole Shank

Are there any models with this built into the sole?

I’d like a pair of DrMartens to add to my collection of NPS, Gripfast and Solovair, but i dont want to compromise on the sole shank feature as it means a lot to the comfort and durability of these types of soft sole boots

Would i have to find a vintage pair of 90s DrMartens or are there still a line of modern Martens being made with the shank?

Hello fellow strattonites

Solovair released this model and I was there on day 1 since i follow their newsletter due to a lack of a meaningful life

It occurred to me that I could not order in my size, it only went up to a pathetic 10.5 UK

Now I might have been slow, and UK11 just happened to sell out immediately, but I doubt this

Is size 11 UK really so rare that we do not bother putting shoes on our feet, must I walk the Earth barefoot, NPS solovair? I ask you this
