Does anyone know any info about this Vintage style?

The tag seems to say IR05A but I can’t find anything about it. The style looks like the old 1420s to me but doesn’t have that listed inside so I was confused. Wondered if anyone had heard of this style number before. Thanks!

Real or fake?

It's very expensive and it's my first time owning a doc martens shoes. I've been seeing a lot of original shoes with the same overlapping yellow stitching but I feel like I got scammed

First time buyer Sizing issue

I’m normally a 6.5. Bought the 8053 in a 7, but my heel slips out completely even with thick socks. The toe box feels cramped too, my pinky toe felt sore.

Do I stick it out with the 7 and break them in, or is a 6 worth pushing through? I can only buy online due to availability. Any tips appreciated!

buzz for $15 at goodwill are they real ??

hi y’all im writing this from the goodwill parking lot losing my mind bc literally just this past week I searched for this EXACT shoe on depop and almost bought them @ $80 bc i thought it was a steal

happened to do a lazy sunday goodwill trip today and there these were right in front of me, in my size, in the exact color and style i’ve been wanting, in pristine condition , for $14.99. i silently nodded to myself, grabbed them and bought them without looking at anything else. i have had a lot of docs throughout my life and i’m pretty sure these are real (feel very heavy and good quality and the label looks good to me) but wanted to check with the experts bc i feel like the simulation is playing a trick on me. ty xoxo

New Style: Kasey Lo (but different to Kasey)

A new style has been released of Kasey Lo, which is the Kasey style but ankle height rather than knee high, but I noticed that the stitching on the upper is completely different. Not the yellow stitching, I'm talking about the pieces which make up the shoe itself.

On the standard Kasey (2nd photo) the front piece of leather which covers the toe ascends all the way up the front of the foot to the ankle, almost like a tongue, however the Kasey Lo (1st photo) instead has a different structure which almost looks like a slip on which has had the ankle piece stitched in to it.

The ankle section on the Lo is also wider, to make this a slip on rather than the Kasey original which, whilst being inherently a slip-on, still has a zip. The narrower opening gives the original Kasey a more sophisticated look. The Lo almost look like they could be Rocketdogs rather than Docs.

Why would they change this? There is plenty of space to have the same upper on the front of the foot, and also to add the zip to keep the ankle narrower.

Anyway, I don't know what I'm trying to say with this. I absolutely LOVE my Kaseys so I was very excited to see a mini version of them, but I'm a little disappointed by these. I think I would need to see them in person and try them on before I form a final opinion.

Has anyone tried them?

First pair of docs - care advice please!

Picked these up from a marketplace listing for $50 and they are like brand new! I’m so excited!

Can I use regular leather wax? Or should I treat them differently because of the flowers (I’m assuming they will wear off eventually - any ways to prolong the design)?

They fit fairly well but need some breaking in, mostly over the arch of my foot. Any tips for that particular area?

My first pair of Docs!

I just purchased the Sinclair yesterday, expecting them on Monday. Ive never owned a pair but saw these a month or so ago and fell in love. I cant WAIT to get these!

I also got into thrifting for alt style clothes and making my own. I found some graphic Ts that I cut out the graphic prints on and will safety pin to my oversize/dress shirt ts with some black leggins and my IT socks. I think my outfits are gonna look a lot sharper

Sizing question

Hello! I hope this post is okay. I am looking to buy some low Docs, specifically 1461 Quad or 8053 Quad. Curious if anyone can help me with sizing. I am an EU40 in my Jadons and am wondering if the 1461Q/8053Q are similar in sizing or if I should size up (I have tried EU39 in the 1461’s and they were too small).

Are they really good fakes?

Just bought a pair of Jadon but I never saw those white labels before. No serial number on the backside of the box lid. Also the printings around the box lid top holes are too short.

How to get these scratches off?

Best way to get these scratches off? I don’t scuff my toes on anything, but they seem to just pop up out of nowhere.

What can I do to help these boots?

Hello! I just got this pair of boots! I got them off of Facebook marketplace for like $35. These are my first pair of doc martens, and I’ve been wanting them for years, but have never had the money to drop on a brand new pair of them. As I look at them closer, I have noticed some things that I have no idea how to help or fix, like scuffs and stuff, and I’m basically just looking for some guidance on what type of polish and/or conditioner to use! What can I do to make these boots look the best they possibly can! Thank you so much!
