Hi! I have been getting blonde highlights for the past several years and this past year I’m really noticing that my hair is suddenly not taking it well. It’s dry on top, brittle, easily breaks…I’m wondering if the best thing would be to give my hair a break?

I remember during the pandemic I had my hairdresser sorta blend/balayage my darker roots with my blonder highlights since I couldn’t go as frequently (seen in picture). Do you think this would be a good solution (and to just let my hair grow out without the highlights for a while)? Thanks!
