Material/jacket recs for someone who runs warm?

Material/jacket recs for someone who runs warm?

Looking to make my first battle jacket filled with patches from the national parks I go to. However I have some weird requirements that have made it hard and would love some input from those that have made a couple.

- I don't want to use denim. Don't really like the feel on my skin or the blue look (though maybe a black denim might work)

- I run really warm, and in socal that means any thick jacket I would only be able to use it in winter

- a hoodie would be a huge plus

I do have a jacket in mind that I bought a while ago. It was this one from Levi's https://www.macys.com/shop/product/levis-mens-sherpa-lined-two-pocket-hooded-trucker-jacket?ID=4864242

It has the exact style that I want but it's too warm and bulky to wear year round. So if anyone has recs for something like this but thinner/better suited for warm weather that would be perfect. I also would prefer to buy something new. Normally I thrift my clothes but for something like this that I hope to carry around with me forever I would want new.
