psych students: did you feel ready before your first placement?
starting placement soon and honestly bricking it. we do role plays in class but it’s hard to take seriously when your mate is pretending to have GAD lol.
feels like there’s this massive jump between what we practice in tutorials and sitting across from an actual client.
anyone who’s been through it, did you feel prepared? anything you did outside of class that actually helped?
