Atlantis + Caesars Rewards: Tips I Wish I Knew Before Going

Just got back from Atlantis through Caesars Rewards and wanted to share some tips that would have saved us time and money.
Check-in
We stayed at the Coral.
I politely tipped the front desk agent $20 and we were able to get one of our rooms checked in early. Obviously not guaranteed, but it worked for us.
Airport Transportation
We used Jermaine’s Taxi & Tours for transportation to and from the airport for 4 people. It was around $60 from airport to hotel. He was very responsive on WhatsApp, arrived on time, and was extremely friendly. He also mentioned gas is around $8/gallon in the Bahamas, so I was happy to support a local driver instead of dealing with finding a taxi.

Caesars Rewards Tip
My husband likes to gamble, but I don’t. Since Caesars requires gambling activity for future offers, I played quarter roulette. I placed small bets that covered large sections of the table (for example, covering numbers 1-13 and another section of numbers). I ended up losing only about $3/hour while still having activity on my players card. It wasn’t exciting, but it kept my losses very low. You just need to log in 4 hours so you don’t get charged the full room cost. You can check your time at the players club.

Another tip: if you’re playing during the busiest water park hours, the casino is quieter and the cocktail servers seemed to come around more often. Just remember to tip them well.

Pool/Water Park
Get your chairs before 10 a.m.
We loved sitting under the two umbrellas near the hospitality area river exit 6. It’s close to the lazy river, beach, restrooms, and food. There should be 2 ice machines by the restaurant. I circled it on map.

Bring a Large Insulated Cup
This was one of the best things we packed. Ice machines were on the 6th and 9th floors at the Coral, and you can also refill ice at several outdoor restaurants throughout the day. Atlantis provides b
waterbottles but it’s difficult to add ice to those bottles.

Pool Drinks
The pool drinks are STRONG. Check the Atlantis app for happy hour specials. We found deals at Shake Shack (BOGO) and Cocodrilo’s (2-for-1 watermelon margaritas not that great)

Pack These
Water shoes (the pavement around the water park gets extremely hot). Everyone’s feet were burning going to and from rides.
Comfortable walking shoes
A hat
Plenty of sunscreen (it’s much more expensive on the island)
We brought Target Up & Up Sport SPF 30 spray and were glad we did.

Bring Snacks
We packed snacks from home. There is a small grocery store and liquor store close to the Coral, but the grocery selection is limited and expensive. It is very close walking distance. We got bag of chips for about $8.

Beach Drinks
There’s a guy named Charles walking the beach selling three pineapple drinks for $30. We tried them and they were good. That said, the pool drinks were about $15 each and honestly seemed stronger.

Leaving the Bahamas
We flew home on a Thursday around midday. The airport was much busier than expected. TSA moved fairly quickly, but the U.S. Mobile Passport Control (MPC) line was much slower. Give yourself extra time—we were getting nervous about making our flight.
Hope this helps someone planning an Atlantis/Caesars trip!
