So i decided to take one for the team and try the website artsupplies.jp based off Reddit reviews and well it’s definitely not a scam! All the paint looks fresh and not dried out. I paid $380 and there will be a customs fee (will update how much when I get it) but yeah, I was gonna get both full sets but I didn’t want to spend that much on a test. I can’t even find the full acryla gouache set here in the states. And big art box stores are trying to charge $980 for the regular gouache set… it’s $380 on this site. Still both full sets are cheaper than 1 full set here in the states, even with an estimated customs fee.

Also I don’t want to hear I don’t need this many colors. Yes I do. I like the ability to paint a wide variety of different things and could care less about limited palettes.

I also added my assistant because he’s adorable 🥰
