Beta testing
Hi everyone. I’m looking for a small group of Canadian investors to help beta test a platform I’ve been building called Prospyr.
Prospyr is built for dividend, DRIP, and income-focused investors. The idea is simple: instead of only tracking portfolio value, the platform helps investors see things like projected annual income, monthly dividend coverage, DRIP strength, portfolio goals, income snowball progress, and whether holdings are actually supporting the income plan they are supposed to support.
I’m not looking to promote a finished product. I’m looking for honest testers before this goes wider.
The beta version includes account creation, holdings management, dashboard views, income forecasting, Coverage Ratio-style DRIP health, price creep checks, and goal tracking. The point of the beta is to learn what feels useful, what feels confusing, what is missing, and what needs to be simplified before launch.
I’m looking for about 15 to 25 Canadian testers. The best fit would be people who invest through a TFSA, RRSP, non-registered account, Wealthsimple, Questrade, a bank brokerage, or any DIY platform, and who care about dividends, ETFs, REITs, covered-call funds, income growth, or eventually converting growth holdings into income.
You do not need to have a huge portfolio. Small portfolios are useful for testing too. In many ways, they are more helpful because the platform needs to work for people who are still building, not only people who already have six figures invested.
A few important notes: this is not financial advice, it does not provide buy or sell recommendations, and no one should enter sensitive information into the beta. If you are not comfortable entering real holdings, sample numbers are completely fine. I’m mainly testing the experience, the clarity, the calculations, and whether the dashboard actually helps people think better about their income plan.
What I would ask from testers is straightforward: try the beta, add a few holdings or sample entries, use the dashboard, and send honest feedback. Bugs, confusing labels, missing features, layout issues, and “I expected this to work differently” comments are all useful.
If you are interested, please comment “beta” or send me a message and I will share the next steps.
Thanks in advance to anyone willing to help. I’m trying to build something that feels genuinely useful for Canadian income investors, and I would rather shape it with real feedback than guess from behind a screen.
