Also wanted to note that my neighbours under the same building (SDU) name and agency as our apartment building (MDU) are able to order FTTP as of last week so surely our landlord have already signed a wayleave to allow FTTP.

I’ve read a couple comments under another post where they said this happened and eventually went live after some odd weeks but not sure if that’s how it often goes for most or the rare occasion if you’re lucky.

Can just about tolerate using my hotspot for gaming any longer 🤣

SDU Apartment building adjacent to us can now order FTTP (states potential wayleave issues), does that mean it’s imminent for us in our MDU apartment?

While OR site does state for our MDU building (10 apartments) that they’ll be building in this area in the next year since early 2026, the SDU next to us (5 apartments) that’s seperated by a driveway for our shared private carpark can now order FTTP, albeit potential wayleave issues and 1 stage. We’re both under the same building name and agency.

I have noted that the featured product section changed from ‘FTTP on demand’ to ‘WBC FTTP’ for our building so it’s gone up from 330/50 to 1000/220 downstream/upstream etc.

OR vans have been out and about last several months, including right in front of our apartment, not noticed any new white boxes on our building, haven’t checked the SDU next to us though. They might’ve worked on that building instead

I have filled a wayleave form from OR and that they’ll contact my managing director right away so waiting on that.

BT website oddly enough does give us the options for full fibre now but we can’t order it as we’re not live

Curious if anyone has any know on whether this means the groundwork has been laid and if we’re imminent or waiting a lot longer, if we get it at all.
