From maybe 4 years old T-ball to 18U… it’s been our thing. Now he’s off to uni; next stop for ball will probably be rec softball.

I loved almost every minute of it. Except the politics. Cared about every kid I coached — every one. And I think I changed some of their lives.

But it’s really hard to watch the videos of kids asking for hitting feedback, etc. I will miss this whole world. May be back with grandkids in 15.

Thinking of doing a week in January, but it's a little more convenient to go in mid-Sept. Diving and just chilling ... Don't need insane beach parties... but just having dinner in a restaurant with 2 other people is kind of vibe-killing. How much does the tourism drop in Sept? Will dive boats be like 2 people?

I see the recommended specs here, including the set of solidworks compatible computers.

I built a desktop PC last year that should perform well: 32 gb ram, RTX 4060, Ryzen 5 7600X.

I also want to get a laptop. Will it ever help me to have my own laptop able to do high-end processing in labs, etc., in any year? Or should I just get something lightweight and functional ... for taking notes, etc.?
