I’ve been running a budget gaming laptop from 2019 for about 5 years now. It was budget that long ago and I’m due an upgrade but I’m still keeping pretty cheap.

FL studio has been slowing down recently and I’m tired of working at high millisecond delays just to make it run better lol.

I’ve decided to get an M1 MacBook with 16GB of RAM, but can’t decide between the pro and the air. Which one is better? Should I save money and stick with the air or spend a little more on a pro? My main purpose is music production with VSTs, I don’t use live instruments often, although it is an option.
