Need washer size to fix office chair

I cannot brain. I’d like to fix my sinking office chair with some flat metal washers that fit on the piston part but I don’t know what size I need. The orange stopper will go above the washers and then I put the wheel base back on with another washer and then the clip. So I need washers that are a little bit bigger than the orange thing with a wide enough hole to fit over the metal part.

EDIT: I'm aware of the other ways to fix this issue. I am not doing those. I am doing this. If you cannot help me with my question, don't comment.
