Drawer Hinge

This drawer on my desk got jammed and in my attempt to get it unstuck I accidentally pulled the hinge out of the wood entirely. This drawer has a hinge front and now that flaps open as it's unsupported. Is there anyway to fix this?

The wood/particle board? splintered off so not sure there's really a solid fix but any recommendations to make this drawer useful would be appreciated!

Trigger return spring help

I lent my husqvarna 223l string trimmer to a neighbor( I know, big mistake). For years there was a little play in the handle but it never bothered me. Apparently my neighbor has OCD and he became obsessed with fixing it. He took the handle apart and now we cannot figure out how this spring gets attached. Any help? I’ve looked everywhere with no luck.

Fixing a Wassily Chair?

I’m re-strapping a Wassily chair and I can’t separate the two halves of the chair sled base. Normally these would be sleeved together and set with a screw in one of these holes. However this is a vintage piece and there were no screws installed when I bought it. The sleeves appear to be rusted together and will not budge. I think I need some type of inverted vice that can interface with the two screw holes and drive them apart. Any ideas?

*VIDEO* Attic Access Ladder/Hatch

https://reddit.com/link/1tkje9z/video/gbql00xnzo2h1/player

I have an attic access ladder/hatch with a spring (left side) that does not want to stay seated where it is supposed to be. The spring pops out of its seating when the hatch is closed. By inspection, it looks exactly like the right side, both arms that hold the springs look the same without any obvious damage or other apparent issues. Looking for some help to trouble shoot and fix, or just fix.

Thanks.

Help removing the bulb

I have this unusual spotlight fixture mounted on a black rail in my bathroom (see photos). It's red and shaped like a gear.

The bulb inside is a Philips MR16 GU5.3 12V 20W 36°. I need to replace it but I can't figure out how to extract the bulb, the red gear ring seems to be blocking it.

I'm in Austria, so it might be a European brand.

Has anyone seen this design before? And any tips on how to remove the bulb without breaking the fixture?

Reinforcing hydrogen peroxide damage in favorite shirt

I know this is slightly off theme for this subreddit, but I’m desperate for advice.

A few days ago I got blood stains all over the bottom of this shirt, and unfortunately decided to try soaking the stains in hydrogen peroxide to remove them. This has resulted in stains and badly damaged fabric all along that area of the shirt, with rips forming all along the edges of the stained areas. I am very worried that these tears may spread all the way along the borders, making the shirt completely unwearable.

Note: in the photos, she bottom half of the shirt is soaking wet because I had hoped that rinsing it would make the damage less obvious ;-;

All I want to do is reinforce the weakened fabric without affecting the feel of the shirt too much (l don't care how it ends up looking). I've seen iron on patches recommended for similar damage, however I'm worried that something like that over such a large area would really affect how the shirt sits and feels. I'm looking for any alternative methods to reinforce the fabric and prevent further tearing. If it looks like I'll need to use an iron on patch, I'd love any tips regarding those as well.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! This is one of my very favorite shirts and I would be devastated to have to let it go.

Tldr: I damaged my favorite shirt with hydrogen peroxide and am hoping to repair it without changing its feeling too badly.

Toilet handle gets stuck in flush position anytime its used ever since plumber came to fix the flapper

Our toilet was intermittently running and we had a plumber come by and he fixed it, but ever since, the flush handle stays in the flush position anytime it is used and you have to manually lift it back in place to get the toilet to stop running. I have no idea what he changed or what i need to change to make the lever work normally.

Light switches in the shower

Bought this house and the previous owner cut a hole in the tile literally in the shower to put the light switches in. I installed new 14/2 wire in the bathroom added 3 lights and moved the switches to a 3 gang box on the other side of the door. The only problem that I have is how to fix the hole. I can't match up the tile and even if I could I would have to buy at minimum a 3x5 piece of cement board and a gallon of waterproofing membrane. Could I put like a ceramic soap dish there?

Possible to fix this light?

Has anyone had success fixing a light like this? It just stopped working after only having it for a few months. It looks sealed everywhere so wondering if I it was worth trying to replace the bulb by breaking in through the bottom.

Trailer Door Cable Backlash?

I am on the road a lot, and my staff keeps mishandling the door, causing the cable to backlash and end up like this. I always remind them but mistakes still happen. Anyways, Im pretty handy and wanted to know if there is any way i can fix this while on the road instead of waiting until we have time to take it back to the shop? Im having a hard time finding a good video about this and would feel better getting some feedback from people here. Thanks 🙏
