I'm at the point where I have many different cars with great tunes for all event types. Power builds, handling builds, for dry\wet conditions, with rally and off-road and (semi-)slick tires.

I'm looking for a quick reference sheet which recommends the best tune type per track. Something that I can quickly look at when signing up to a 3-race championship, so that when I commit to a car for the 3 races I can quickly decide between a power build and handling, and which tires.

The track names are mostly Japanese ones and I'm having trouble remembering which is which, so a "cheat sheet" I can search quickly would be very helpful.

If anyone has such a resource, please drop a link. If not, feel free to make your recommendations here, and I'll get on the job to compile a shared sheet and share it.

First, shoutout to an honorable opponent - KILLMEPLZ7709. A driver worth his(?) salt in S2 class.

I won the first race, barely, after taking the lead during the ghosting phase, and managing to stay ahead without any major mistakes. It was very close.

In the second race, which went roughly the same until about the halfway point, buddy tagged me from behind and sent me off the cliff.

As I was rewinding, I was thinking, "so it's like that, huh? I'll give you a taste of your own medicine, you bastard. Next race".

But then I noticed: he stopped.

He waited patiently for me to catch up, and we resumed our tango downhill with me breathing down his neck.

A couple of hairpins later, I made a major mistake. Misjudged braking distance, and sent him flying. Well well.

I knew what I had to do.

I waited for him to rewind and catch up, now taking the lead as he did before, for the remainder of the race.

After the last hairpin I realized I'm winning and I'm not happy. I slammed the brakes and let him take the second race. This will have to be decided by the third. it's only fair.

The third race was a clean (but very close) win for me, very similar to the first. I think we both took great care not to make contact, arguably more than was necessary, so there's that.

Which brings me to the question: what is considered to be honorable etiquette in Touge races, other than the example above?

We all use different cars, with slightly different tires and brakes, which means sometimes (if I'm ahead) I'll start braking earlier than you expected, and vice versa.

Do you have insights regarding the technical aspects of driving honorably to mitigate the possibility of bumping your opponent? e.g. taking the inner\outer line when you're ahead? Is a defensive brake-check to prevent overtaking considered bad practice or fair game?

Would love to hear your opinions on this.
