Truths or Half-Truths? The Asylum-Seeking Opposition Leader

As I shared in a previous post, I am really intrigued by the events surrounding the NRPUP's leadership and them seeking asylum and the raid that happened at Mr. Mundubile's house and the allegations of insurrection. My suspicion is that Mr. Mundubile and Mr Zulu are telling half-truths.

I don't normally listen to Emmanuel Mwamba's Facebook Live video, but I was just desperate to hear anyone talking about this issue. And in one of his videos, he seemed to allege that perhaps some bad actors infiltrated NRPUP, I wonder if that is what happened. Joseph Mwenda of the News Diggers has written about this, and I am inclined to agree with him on his thoughts on all of this.

Post-Elections

Anyone else curious how things will play out with Mundubile and Makebi Zulu seeking refuge at the UN in Lusaka, the rumours of allegations of insurrection levelled against them? As far as I know, the UN does not offer diplomatic asylum. Also, any thoughts on why they did not go to an embassy instead, which would seem more able to offer some sort of asylum?

A Question on the likelihood of always having someone to play online chess with.

I love playing online chess on Chess.com. I like to stress myself with a stressful game after a long, stressful day. But I am always intrigued by the idea that there is always someone from around the world waiting to play me. Right now, the website says there are 207,439 people who are currently playing and 21,301,619 people who played today. What are the chances that one day when I log on to play, there won't be anyone ready to play me because everyone is already paired up? There are times I have to wait a minute for a pairing, but never over two minutes. Could there be a time when some unlucky chess player has to wait, say, more than say 10 minutes for someone to be paired with for a game?

For those unfamiliar with online chess, there is also the added variable of the system pairing you with someone at your strength level and someone who wants to play under your time control... (e.g: 10 minutes a side chess, 1 minute a side chess, etc).

I guess this question is about statistics and is best suited for Hannah, being a mathematician?

Thank you kindly,
