Where do you store your bike for the winter?

Before I buy a bike (probably an older Japanese one) I want to find a nearby mechanic that works on older bikes as well as a place that I can store it over the winter ( space in my garage is tight). Any recommendations?
I once passed the CISA but my tech skills are below expectations, considering I'm in the back half of my career, and I feel its holding back my job prospects. Very important as I will soon be unemployed.
edit: I see my snip did not post, the course is Data Literacy Certificate: A Journey to Data Analytics, and it costs about $1,000.
I’ve been using LinkedIn but their filtering isn’t very good. What else is good aside from Indeed?
I had one knee replaced last summer and my plan was to have the other knee done later this year once I was eligible again for FMLA. However, I was just terminated and now wondering if I should have the other knee done while I’m unemployed, or wait until I get a new job (hopefully) and can go on disability so I have income coming in while I rehab.
I think the first surgery played a role in me losing my job so I don’t want to jeopardize a new role by having the other knee done. But I also don’t want to put off starting a new job for several months while I wait to have the surgery and then rehab from it.
Not sure if anybody here has been in this situation, but I welcome your advice
I’ve done it 3 times and only regretted it once. Wondering if I just got lucky the other 2 times. Am I safe if I buy a bike no older than 10 years?
