Maybe bad choice of stage name
So, English is not my first language and in my line of work it’s common for people to pick a stage name aka a fantasy name to get attention of future clients and be recognizable on the internet. So I choose the name “Little Bias”, mainly because it’s a common phrase (I like the idea of using English phrases bc it’s recognizable), the 2 main letters LS are similar to my name, not to mention Bia(s) is also a nickname where I live. So because of all of those things I judged the name appropriate. But a year later I went to research further meanings behind that phrase and didn’t really like how heavy some of those implications were. I thought about it as you having a preference for one thing over the other, like flavours. But it also has heavy connotations to prejudice, something I really don’t agree. And seeing how my work can go mainstream and I’ve seen people on the internet go nuts against people with less. I feel like this name will just be ammunition. I legit thought it was a good phrase but I have been wrong before, with slangs I thought were cute that WERE NOT cute and were actually nsfw. Again English is not my first language and some things fly over my head.
So is this a really bad name I should change? I really am already thinking of doing so, and will have so fix some papers.
