As a huge cubs fan and Fanatics/Nike hater, I, too, was disappointed when they butchered the material, lettering, and sewing of the jerseys in 2024. I know there’s been reports that the jersey material has gone back to the 2023 (original) style. But when watching my Cubs especially, I still don’t think the nameplate on the back of the jerseys is as big as they used to be (Majestic era). Additionally, the cubbie patch on the arm looks disproportionately smaller than the Motorola patch on the other arm (another disgrace to the uniform). Can anyone confirm if I’m just freaking out or if they’ve noticed something similar.
