BP’s in 2009 were pullover 2 button like they wore in 06 for BP BUT the main difference is in 06 they had # & NOB while in 09 they only had a # on the back and didnt have NOB…3 letters on front is what matters!
Nothing like waiting 3 months for a jersey that can’t be worn at a WBC game. I would almost consider exchanging it for an elite Seahawks jersey.

I am currently trying to sell this shirt, which I got from my high school baseball coach who was a former-professional baseball player and has connections with some organizations. He gave our players this shirts, saying that he was given by the organization because they were leftovers from spring training. I researched on the internet if this is really was not for the public. I did not find a single one of the exact same one. But I am not sure, therefore someone please help me to figure out if this is rare and can be sold with a high price. thanks,
I’ve played in a few amateur baseball games and watched enough local league tournaments to realise custom jerseys can go from “pretty cool” to “who approved this?” very quickly.
One team had a neon green jersey with a flaming baseball on the front, but the player names were in a font that looked like a horror movie poster. Another had a navy and orange design that should have worked, except the numbers were almost the same colour as the shirt, so you couldn’t read them from more than ten feet away. The funniest one was a team that used cartoon-style nicknames on the back, and one guy had “Left Bench” printed like it was his actual surname.
It made me realise that the idea can be funny or creative, but the small design details matter a lot. Typography, colour contrast, number placement, and even how long the name looks across the back can make or break the whole thing.
We tried a custom design through KXKShop, and the helpful part was having the design cleaned up before it was finalised. The original colour mix looked too busy, so the palette was adjusted, and the lettering was made easier to read. It still felt custom, just less chaotic.
Now I’m curious — what’s the strangest, funniest, or most questionable custom baseball jersey you’ve seen on a team?

I love this jersey bc USA baseball honored kirby puckett (who passed away right before the WBC tournament) with a blk arm band - placed really low on the sleeve. Most casual fans dont even notice or know this existed and probably think its a sleeve cuff or a players blk undershirt.

Talked to Bill at the Dream Shop and he will not have these numbers, I figured as much. But what about other sources? Same for the patch. I know my stadium has the numbers, but they are just heat pressed ones meant for replicas, I’d like to create an authentic at some point. Same for the patch, I would imagine it’s going to be an embroidered one when we see them on-field tomorrow.

Fanatics jerseys are usually the cheaper alternative to Nike jerseys but is it frowned upon? Just wondering cause I don’t want to seem like an odd one out if I were to buy one and wear it out or maybe get asked things like “why not get a Nike jersey?” If it isn’t the best idea how reliable is eBay with reselling real jerseys and not counterfeit jerseys?
