What is it that I keep hearing how Upscaling and Frame Gen being the Future of gaming on PC. I’m fairly new to PC and have read on PCs and Parts in the past and have read before that Upscaling and Frame Gen are terrible. How much better has it gotten in recent years?

So I went to put in my CPU and it didn’t drop down and calling correctly, would it be okay to give it a gently nudge to have it drop in place? The one I bought doesn’t have pins
