New GPU but display looks cooked

Hello people, I recently bought a 5060ti from Amazon, and today the GPU came through, and I went to immediately install it, but when I fully installed it and booted it back up, my display looks like this. I don’t know what’s the issue so I sent picture of the gpu and the connections such as the pcie and the power cable. Before upgrading, my current specs were

CPU: Ryzen 7 5600x
Motherboard: Gigabyte Aorus B550M Elite
RAM: 32 GB DDR4
PSU: Thermaltake Smart 750w

If you guys can identify the issue, please let me know, can’t let all this money go to waste.

PC won’t boot past Bios after Crash

PC Specs:

CPU - Intel i9-14900k
Motherboard - Pro z690-A DDR4
GPU - RTX 5060ti 16gb
SSD - WD_BLACK SN850
Ram - 32gb DDR4 (not sure the brand)

When I tried to turn my PC on this afternoon, I logged in, but during the log in loading screen, it froze completely. I didn’t think much of it and got frustrated so I switched off the power supply at the back to force it to shut down.

After turning it back on, it went straight to Bios. And every time I save and exit, back to bios again.

I’ve done a little research, but I don’t think this is something I can fix by myself. It seems there’s a high chance my SSD or HDD has failed or corrupted. I’m not certain, but I’m pretty sure my Bios can still see my SSD though.

Any help would be really appreciated. I’m not opposed to buying a new SSD or whatever. But there are a few things on my current one that I really, really don’t want to lose. And if there’s a way to salvage those things, advice on that would be really helpful too. Thank you!

Issues with performance on upgraded build

I recently upgraded my computer (Specs below). Performance in-game is incredibly unstable and stutters. I have uninstalled all drivers and reinstalled multiple times, attempted to tamper with Nvidia control panel settings and app settings. My temperatures for the CPU and GPU are within range. When playing a game such as Rust, my fps is at a steady 12, but when looking downwards, the fps jumps to 60. When playing a game such as Overwatch, the frame rate is steady when looking around and standing still, but sudden movements drop the fps.

New- 5060 8Gb
New- I5 13600k (Updated drivers for the previous code error which caused overheating)
Asus B660
32gb Ram
1Tb SSd

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

PC crash when gaming after CPU upgrade

Hello!

I have upgraded my CPU today from a Ryzen 2600 to a Ryzen 5950x. The PC boots, everything works, I can even run a CPU and GPU benchmark simultaneously, but as soon as I run a demanding game for a minute or so, my PC crashes. The screen goes black, the PC lights stay on and the CPU debug LED of my mainboard is on. At this point I cannot even hard shutdown the PC by holding the power button, I have to switch off the power supply, switch it back on, then boot.

I have updated the BIOS, have cleared CMOS (at least I think I have, I switched the power supply off and pushed the reset CMOS button on the back). Nothing helped so far. I don't think it's a power supply issue, as I looked up the recommended power supply wattage for my setup and it's 600W upwards, I have 750W.

I'm running OpenSUSE Tumbleweed on this PC.

These are my hardware specs:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5950x

Mainboard: MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC

RAM: 2x HMA82GU7CJR8N-VK

GPU: AMD RX 7800 XT

Drives: ADATA NVME SSD, 2 TB, SX8200PNP; Western Digital HDD, 2 TB, WDC WD20ERFX; ADATA SSD, 512 GB, SU800 (system drive); LG DVD burner, GH24NSD1.AUAA10B

PSU: Be quiet! System Power 11 750W

Thank you for reading! Any help would be really appreciated.

Pc constantly freezing and crashing

Built a pc about two months ago and ever since have been having constant freezing and crashing. Sometimes the pc works fine and I can play all day, other days the thing will post, boot, and as soon as I sign in and the desktop comes up it freezes and crashes almost immediately.

I’m at my wits end with this thing. I’ve reseated and checked all the outlets, ram memtest and ram came back good, I’ve freshly reinstalled windows 11 five different times now. Temps are all good, and I’ve ran DDU and freshly reinstalled GPU drivers as well as flashing my BIOS with the newest version.

I have no idea where to go from here besides just throwing new parts at it.

I did end up getting event viewer up in safe mode an have a lot of event 10005 ID’s there. As well as a few event 208 and 216’s in there.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

Specs:

Ryzen 9 9800x3d

MSI tomahawk x870

AMD 9070xt XFX

16x2 Corsair vengeance ram 6000mhz cl38

Wd black sn770 2tb SSD

MSI MAG A850GL PCIE5 850W PSU

Edit: More specific specs

Fire smell

I have to wait 2 hours for my partner to come home and fix it, but he claims theres nothing wrong with it,

Context:

Hes been trying to update the space with these stick things he has brought (not a pc expert but they are green and look like a small mother board thing) ontop of that hes just cleaned it, now im not a computer expert but I am damn well sure its not meant to smell quite literally immediately of fire and smoke, I turned it off before anything could happen (by the plug because holding the off button wasnt working) i dont know if its because of the heatwave uk is currently going through, or something is generally wrong, but i have never been bombarded so fast with that smell in my life, and thats coming from an owner of a pc that did decide it didnt want this life,

It looks fine from the outside, but then again I dont know what im looking for or at, i just want to know if the pc really is okay? Or hes saying that just so he can get off the phone and back to his dnd game...

Any hints?

Optimal Fan Config?

This is my new setup, ignore the bad cabling I just haven't got to it yet.

I have a three pack of white rgb fans in my closet that I thought would look nice mounted on the side panel. Even better, they're reversed so the fancy side is pointing towards to the glass while set up as intakes.

My only concern is whether it'll be okay to have five intakes (3 front + 2 side) and only one exhaust (1 rear). I'll have an extra fan left over that I could mount up top as exhaust but it's reversed so it'll look kinda bad so I'd prefer to avoid it.

I know positive pressure is good, but how much is too much?

I was going to reinstall windows. Is there anything I need to know before I start?

I was gonna reinstall because my computer hasn’t been looking too good. Some games won’t boot and some don’t work correctly. I’m using an old Windows 10 USB that I wiped and put 11 on it. It’s a Victus with AMD ryzen 5 7535hs plus Radeon 6550m and I was hoping to get some advice on it before I continue

Does this look like a possible issue?

So, I’m currently playing a game called “Mouse P.I. For Hire”, and whilst playing I have HWInfo open.
I see that my Current FPS is 165, which is what it’s supposed to be, because my Monitor’s Refresh rate is 165hz.

However, my 1% Low, is saying my current is 148.6 FPS, and my minimum is 3.5 FPS, however on average I’m around 126.2 FPS.

Does this look or seem like a possible issue?
I have experienced stuttering in, so far-
Two spots in the game, other than that, just having some occasion gram drops, to about 120 FPS, from the 165.

I'm a dummy. Rtx 3080 FE

Bought this on eBay with no cable and didn't do my research enough about which one I'd need. Can someone point me in the right direction? I know it came with an adapter from the factory, but I can't seem to find a genuine nvidia one. Are any of the Amazon brands g2g?

Would this work?

I know nvdidia suggests 2x8 pin individual cables but this one I posted seems to work that issue out?

I am so confused with what the hell is the problem

Idk what is happening and whats the main issue here, but undear heavy gaming load or even like sometimes not heavy load my computer gives a bluescreen of death, its not actually blue its like the text is on the screen of what I was going and Boom the pc restarts, I use creative softwares and also play games, while playing game or under heavy load my ups used to flicker so much and eventually restarts the pc then randomly without the ups problem I started getting like blue screen of death, I underclocked my gpu to 75% to prevent that ups thing going on I also checked that the one of the ram in mem test86 that it have 1 error so I stoped using that and I found out that I needed to use only 2 or 4 ram to get dual channel for optimal performance and so I did, when I was on windows 10 the blue screen thing wasn't that common but once it started It and kept annoying me and some of the creative software demanding windows 11 for better performance now I keep getting restarts and blue screen of death and I cant figure out whats the problem some says its my psu some its my gpu some says its my ram, even after removing ram it still worked like this so I decided to put my ram back in as I do need more ram, its not always like this like if I play elden ring for hours or other games it dont really do that but If I play GTA 5 then it gives that blue screen especially the online version, I finished pragmata in like higest graphcis settings and never had that problem but on gta 5 or when I have adobe apps open it randomly lags and crash

my specs
Gigabyte B450m D3SH wifi
Ryzen 7 5700x3D
Gskill ddr4 8gbx4 3200mhz (one of them is 3000mhz I am stupid yeah I know I bought the other 3 ram when it was $16 and didnt realise that the ram have different hz)

Need help diagnosing my PC issue.

Hello, first time posting here maybe someone can help me. I used AI to help me write my problems since english is not my main language:

My PC specs:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X

GPU: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2060 OC 6GB

Motherboard: ASUS PRIME B450M-K

RAM: 16GB DDR4-3000 (2×8GB)

Storage: Kingston A2000 500GB NVMe SSD + 2TB SATA HDD

Old PSU: be quiet! System Power B9 600W

New PSU: be quiet! System Power 11 650W

My PC suddenly shut down while gaming a few days ago and wouldn't turn back on. The motherboard standby LED was still on, but pressing the power button only made the fans twitch briefly. There was also a slight burnt smell.

I replaced my old PSU with a brand new be quiet! System Power 11 650W using only the new cables. The PC booted and worked normally for like 3 days.

Today, while I was just watching YouTube and playing a small game (summonerswar), the PC suddenly shut off again. I switched the PSU off and back on, then tried to start it. It powered on for a moment, but I saw small blue/white sparks from the area around the GPU, followed by a strong burnt smell. The smell is definitely coming from the graphics card area, not the 24-pin connector or the PSU.

I immediately unplugged the PC and haven't turned it on again.

Do you think the GPU is most likely dead, or could the motherboard or even the new PSU also be the cause?
