PC fails to POST after windows update. (Blinking DRAM)

Symptoms: Was perfectly fine prior to windows update and shut down. Later that night, I come back and on powering on, yellow DRAM light falshes and fans spin, but pc fails to POST.

Things tried:

Full power off and power drain

Swapping ram sticks

Having just 1 ram stick in a2

Clearing CMOS with battery removal, with CLRT shorting

Resetting BIOS using usb with bios downloaded onto it

Trying all the above with/without SSD and all USB ports plugged in.

Been verrryyyy excessive in patience in all things to allow time for clearing / resetting.

Specs

Ram: ddr4 3600

Mb: TUF GAMING B550 - PLUS WIFI 2

CPU: RYZEN 7 5800x

GPU: 3060ti

Been scratching my head real hard on this one.. not sure what to do. Please help if you have ideas.

Formatting HDD

I have added an SSD (drive C) to my laptop last year, but didn't have time to do a proper cleanup.

HDD (drive D) used to be the main hard disk for my laptop.

Now I want to use it as a storage to keep photos, movies, games iso etc.. But it still has previous program files (which I don't actually need since I'm doing fresh install on C)

Can I just format drive D, click that format button? Will it affect my laptop or anything? Sorry I'm not too good at this thing.

Appreciate any help.

games crashing constantly and idk why

I recently tried switching to linux, turns out it didnt support an anticheat for two games so i switched back to windows. fresh install, got all of my drivers installed and up to date, even went back to a later version to see if that was the issue. ive verified game files, uninstalled and reinstalled. tried tweaking some windows graphics and display setting as well as settings on steam. i cant figure out why both games ive tried to play (cs2 and rust) have crashed. never had this problem before, dont have and problems with my fps and i know my system can definitely handle both of these games no problem. i dont get a crash report or anything, the games just freeze for a sec then closes. im on windows 11 home if that means anything, running a radeon rx7800xt gpu and amd Ryzen 7 5800X cpu, 25.12.1 adrenalin edition

Pc won't connect to internet after transporting

I just today received my pc through the mail after having to have it shipped to me from out of state. Try as we might something did break.

The panel on the back of my pc that has the USB plugins and wifi antennas appears to be bent and the antennas specifically didnt survive the trip quite well. The computer boots up and works fine still other than it cant connect to the internet and doesnt even give me the option to attempt to connect to a wifi network

I assume this means something more internally has been damaged and the software isnt even detecting it as an issue, but I was hoping to just ask what the next step might be, if its something I might be able to fix myself like replacing the antennas or if I probably have to take it to a shop. Ive never worked on my computer before I got it pre built, any advice is welcome. Sorry if the pictures arent particularly helpful

Audio Interference that get quieter when i touch the pc case, but louder when i touch the psu.

I have literally no idea how this is even possible, but i get a lot of static and glitchy noises/interference that im trying to diagnose the cause of. When i touch the case, the sound lessens depending on how much skin contact there is. But when i touch the psu, the sound gets louder and more consistent. This happens even though there is a connection between the psu and the case.

If anyone has any idea whats going on or further diagnostic steps i can take, then the help would be very appreciated.

Is this the GPU bearing making noice? I’ve already tried blowing it with air compressor. Easy fix for someone with basic screwdriver skills?

Pc worse after new motherboard

Hello everybody this is my first time posting on this channel, i have a problem with my pc and my friend told me to go to the big boys (u guys). So basically i switched my motherboard and added in a new ssd and my performance has worsened.

my specs were

  • amd ryzen 5 5600x
  • nvidia geforce 4060 ti
  • asus prime a320-mk (old motherboard)
  • ASUS TUF GAMING B550-PLUS WIFI II (new motherboard)

with the old motherboard ii had 400-500 fps on valorant. I had no noticeable fps drops during my game. with my new motherboard i have 300 fps max, and it drops to 200.

i clean installed my windows, updated my bios drivers, chipset drivers, nvidia drivers. i have been in to my bios around 50 times the last week alone. i cleaned my pc out, reapplied thermal paste on my cpu. if theres any help u guys can give i would appreciate it

My monitors won't detect video input anymore.

My pc wouldn't turn on this morning, opened it up to look for loose connections, didn't see anything, put it back together and it worked again. Only my monitors (one is HDMI, the other display port) won't detect video input anymore. I've checked the connection several times. Does any part of my pc tower look disconnected/wrong?

Help me which component to upgrade (very soon)

Never had the idea to build a pc in the first place because I already had a gaming laptop. Due to recent GPU hype, I had to test it out on my laptop. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out well.

So in order for the GPU not to be a waste, I had a thought of building an entry or perhaps a mid gaming pc (which I already built this time).

Having a thought of a bottleneck, I am thinking now on which component to upgrade soon. The processor or a RAM gamble?

The components I had built this time (all used):

Ryzen 5 7600 (stock cooler)
MSI A620
Geil 16GB
RTX 3080Ti ex gamer OC
Cougar 750W

Main use is mainly for gaming and a little bit of office work because I do office work on my laptop.
