Hi Everyone. My PC suddenly had a constant barrage of BSOD for 2 weeks now. When this happened my OS was w10 and I was just chilling and watching youtube then suddenly a wild BSOD appeared for the first time in many years. Then it went downhill from there.

Everytime I open the PC its just BSOD again but with different error message. here are some of the messages that I was able to write down:

-PAGE FAULT IN NON PAGED AREA

-DRIVER OVERRAN STACK BUFFER 0XF7

-SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

-UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP

-EXCEPTION ON INVALID STACK

-KERNEL SECURITY CHECK FAILURE

-KERNEL_AUTO_BOOST_INVALID_LOCK_RELEASE

and a few more that I failed to record.

I already reinstalled my OS and change it to Windows 11 it still BSOD's. I tried to the the CMD and sfc /scannow and the DISM but it still keeps on BSOD. I have reinstalled Windows 11 countless times but its still BSOD'ing. I am honestly at a lost here. please help me, I can't afford to spend money right now to have this fixed outside or buy parts to replace some hardware if I have to.

Please help me. I am so stressed out for the past 2 weeks because of this.

Edit: here are a few more bsod error messages that I just encountered:

-KMODE EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED

-KERNEL_MODE_HEAP_CORRUPTION

-IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL NTOSKRNL.EXE

What to choose between these. Same price, but the only difference is one has a higher gpu rtx 5050 i5 and the other one is rtx 4050 i7. I'll be using it for gaming and creative softwares rendering and editing. Also.. intel or ryzen?

My pc has been running fine the last couple says and I wake up today turn it on and it keeps saying no signal on my monitor.
LIST OF THINGS IVE DONE AND ITS NOT WORKED
Removed ram
Checked for any damage on hdmi cable and ports they are fine
Unplugged my pc
Removed the metal coin thing forgot what it was called and plugged it back in and it didn’t work
If anyone knows what the issue could be pls let me know

This is a serious question. Every time I read any post from this sub someone is posting an issue that they have and that they want help with, and then everyone in the comments is just spamming the meme of the dude putting his hand on the other guys shoulder which is kinda funny but no one ends up helping the OP or the actual answer is drowned in memes, which makes finding it harder for someone who may end up googling their issue later down the line.

There really should be some kind of rule in place about this, but maybe I'm just no fun.

I recently bought a new 9070 to replace my old 5700XT.

B450m-a bios version 4645

5700x

750w PSU

After plugging it in, with both the displayport from GPU to monitor as well as HDMI to TV I had no display.

Changing back the old 5700XT and everything worked perfectly again. So I tried the 9070 a couple more times hoping for some suboptimal installation but no luck.

At this point I thought it was a GPU problem and replaced it with another 9070 from a different brand. However I have the exact same problem. When I boot up pc everything else seems to work just fine, but no display.

In theory it should work and after two failed 9070 attempts it would be extremely unlikely it happened to receive two faulty GPU's.

Changing drivers should not matter because I should atleast see some display even with bad drivers. Might be a bios thing but I don't want to randomly click buttons and mess up stuff.

Anyone has any idea what the problem might be? Appreciated.

Im not sure what to do, I was going to hard reset my pc but that option wont even open. I then tried forcing the blue screen with restarting my pc, got the blue screen, and that ALSO wouldn't open. Anti-virus says its skipped something?? Ive also taken out the ethernet chord and its not connected to anything. I dont know what to do

I've got a Lenovo pc, Windows 10 Pro; my graphics driver is Intel HD Graphics 4600. It's about 2 years old.

My issue started in late July; at first, it was just my screen flashing when playing Minecraft and was fixed when I bought an HDMI adaptor thing. Unfortunately, after that, my PC just stopped being able to handle Roblox for some reason. In early August, I got back on Roblox; however, I would crash mid-game. This issue only got worse when I started playing another game more often. I HAVE NOT been getting any sort of crash logs (?) or reason for crashing, it just says "ROBLOX CLIENT NOT RESPONDING" or just freezes and closes without saying anything.

I've asked around on Reddit, and looked some stuff up on Tiktok and Youtube. Nothing has been helpful whatsoever in fixing this issue. I have:

Reinstalled Windows

Reinstalled Roblox from both the official website and microsoft store

Did the whole "Open file location, properties, compatabiliy" thing, several times

Ran as administrator

Allowed Roblox through private AND public firewall

Did several malware scans

Updated pretty much everything I can in settings

Cleared cache and roblox cache

Thats about all i can remember i have done, theres most likely a bit more but otherwise i forgot.

If anyone has some advice please share it with me! I cannot upgrade to windows 11, so that is not an option if it is helpful whatsoever. If any solutions involve me buying something, i cannot do that until next month most likely. ALSO: I am not a big PC nerd, please explain everything like. as simple as possible :sob:

I recently obtained a 1 TB hard drive for my gaming PC (not SSD). Steam cannot load games onto it and when I try and format it I get the error:

"Windows cannot format this drive. Quit any disk utilities or other programs that are using this drive, and make sure that no window is displaying the contents of the drive. Then try formatting again."

I have no programs running and no other windows open. How do I stop whatever program that is using my disk so I can format it? I did a brief search on the subreddit and internet and didn't find many matches to the specific text so I'm asking here.

PC is Windows 10 and the only things I've installed are Duckduckgo, Steam, Discord, and possibly Adobe Acrobat, all of which are closed.

Edit: I really appreciate how quickly people are offering advice but you're all assuming I know waaaaaaay more about computers and computers than I do.

I mainly play games from the entirety of the 2010s and the late 2000s I do have some newer games but I have a nvme drive for that and I would like to free up space on that drive by installing a sata ssd into my computer to store older games on

currently just browsing with 5 tabs open.

Temps got my attention while I was playing transport fever 3, cpu was maxed out and at 94-95 degrees.

I recently was having issues booting into windows from a corruption in windows boot manager. After giving up on saving the data, I decided to erase the drive to start from scratch. I wasn’t able to use the installation media to delete the drive, so I decided to try using the secure erase feature in my BIOS. Upon completion, I noticed that neither my BIOS nor my windows installation media are able to find my NVME SSD anymore.

I’ve tried the clear CMOS button, resetting BIOS settings, turning off secure boot, reinserting the SSD, and disconnecting the power. I don’t see any actual drivers for my ssd in the hp support page other than an updated firmware for it but it only comes as an exe file that I’m not able to initialize during the windows installation process.

My desktop is the HP Omen 45L and it uses an 8tb WD-black NVME SSD.

Are there any other settings or suggestions I can try?

Hi! I need help deciding which CPU to get for my RX 6600.

* Ryzen 7 5700X – ₱8,100

* Ryzen 5 5500X3D – ₱11,000

I'll be upgrading my motherboard too. I mainly play Monster Hunter Wilds, where I have to lower my settings to get playable FPS, and competitive games like Valorant and Dota 2.

Which of these three CPUs would you recommend for the best gaming performance, especially in Monster Hunter Wilds, while still getting good value for my money? (I play 1080p only)
