I posted in the sub a few weeks back about my RMA on a 5070ti the last update I got from zotac rma team was September 21st saying they received my gpu. Since I hadn’t heard anything back I emailed them asking if there had been any updates on what’s happening with the card they sent me this email back. I’m just wondering how long yall think the wait is gonna be and if anyone else is going thru this or has been
Hey everyone,
I just had a question if anyone has had experience with Zotac’s RMA from Canada for GPU’s how was the process and what suggestions or advice do you have to go about it. I opened a ticket last night and sent all the invoices/ receipts as well as a description of what the card is doing. I’ll take a million pictures of every inch of the card and pack it like a gold bar, but I still have seen post saying they got denied for odd reasons.
Any advice about it is very much appreciated thank yall!

GPU: Zotac 5070 Ti
Motherboard: Gigabyte B650 Eagle AX
PSU: MSI MAG A850GLS
OS: Windows 11
Two nights ago, I went to boot my PC and it got stuck on the VGA light. I tried restarting the PC just in case the GPU didn’t initialize properly, but the same thing happened.
I unplugged my DisplayPort cable from my GPU and plugged it into my motherboard, and it booted with no problem. I went to check Device Manager, and that’s when I saw that Windows wasn’t detecting my GPU. It was there, but greyed out.
I then booted into my BIOS to check if it was being detected, but it wasn’t showing up there either. I have tried a bunch of different solutions, but the GPU still isn’t being detected for some reason.
I don’t have another PC to put my GPU in to check whether it’s the actual problem or a driver issue.
The different things I have tried to get it working:
-Did a full DDU removal of my GPU drivers and performed a fresh install.
-Updated the BIOS to the newest version.
-Updated the AMD chipset drivers to the newest version.
-Checked the PSU 12V cable going to my GPU and PSU.
-Cleared CMOS.
-Reseated the GPU multiple times and checked the pins.
-Installed my GPU into the bottom PCIe slots.
If anyone has had a similar issue and managed to fix it, please let me know how you got it working.
I don’t have a warranty from the computer store, but I do have a 3-year warranty with Zotac, so if it is the GPU, I’ll have to RMA it.
Just like the title says looking to find or even start a Magfed group in Toronto (ON), I’ve joined the FB groups but they are beyond dead and the only Magfed only event is in August so I figured I’d try here nd see if yall can make some magic happen.
Any info or recommendations are appreciated thanks yall!
