Pls help zotac

It's been 6 months.. since I've been sending rma draft to zotac team via email.. First time they sent a card that died within a few months.. second time bent metal part .. they refused to send another unit but I insisted that Force fitting it may break the pcie slot .. third time the gpu has display problems .. earlier i thought it might be the psu issue which may not be able to power it .. so I switched to a different pc and the issue still continues..

Now I have only 2 months left after my warranty expires.. doing repeated rma failures have wasted nearly 6-8 months i believe.. With only two months left I'll be left with another faulty gpu.

I have no idea what to do now ..

My OC scores & further optimization advice

I built a new system with an 9950X3D / Zotac 5080 Amp Infinity / 32GB Corsair Vengeance 6000MT (basically the Microcenter 9950X3D bundle) / Lancool 217 / Corsair Nautilus RS AIO.

Tinkering with the Zotac, I got +350MHz core clock & +3000MHz memory, no change in voltage.

Clocks + temps show in the screenshot while Heaven is stress-testing. Up to 66C, settles around 61C, clock ~3200MhZ. Heaven hasn't triggered any hangs or artifacts after an hour of looping.

Speedway: 10.180 https://www.3dmark.com/sw/3667326
Timespy Extreme Graphics: 18.300 https://www.3dmark.com/spy/64417106
Steel Nomad: 9.700 https://www.3dmark.com/sn/14678731

I find these to be decent numbers and not worth pushing more. Any recommendations welcome.

A couple of questions:
-Given that I haven't pushed the voltage, could this be dailied or should I be dialing back for everyday use?
-How would I go about UV after these results? Totally separate profile with close to stock performance for much less power? Or can the UV and OC be combined (for a lower total OC ofc)?
-Anything else I should keep in mind?

Thanks!

ZOTAC RTX 4080 pulled GPU — unknown variant, no BIOS in any public database. Anyone seen this?

I have a custom pulled ZOTAC RTX 4080 16GB with Device ID 19DA:1702, BIOS 95.03.2B.40.02 (build date 2023-02-02, message: PG139 SKU 362 VGA BIOS) bought locally from market. It doesn't show up anywhere in TechPowerUp's VBIOS database and ZOTAC has no public download for it. Trying to figure out what exactly this variant is and if any updates exist.

GPU-Z info:

  • GPU: AD103 Rev A1, 5nm, 9728 shaders
  • Subvendor: Zotac/PC Partner — Device ID: 10DE 2704 — 19DA 1702
  • Memory: 16GB GDDR6X Micron, 256-bit, 716.8 GB/s
  • Clocks: 2205 MHz base / 2505 MHz boost (factory OC)
  • TDP: 320W default and max

The 2505 MHz boost rules out the AMP Extreme (2565 MHz). Best guess is Trinity OC, but nothing confirms it.

What I've checked:

  • TechPowerUp VGA BIOS database — no match for 19DA:1702 or this BIOS version
  • ZOTAC support — they don't publish VBIOS files for end users
  • General web search — nothing newer than early 2023 BIOSes for any ZOTAC 4080. All I found this site: https://jp.mercari.com/item/m83735265349

Questions:

  1. Does anyone recognize subsystem ID 19DA:1702 or SKU 362?
  2. Is this a known SI/OEM variant that never had public BIOS support?
  3. Has anyone gotten a VBIOS from ZOTAC directly for a pulled card?
  4. Is 95.03.2B.40.02 the final revision, or is something newer out there?

Card runs fine — just want to understand what I have and if I'm missing anything on the support side.

Fan bearing noise - Looking for RMA experience

5070ti sounds like its ratting once the fans are spinning between 60-70-%. Well it started that way but now it rattles even at lower speeds. This is my first Zotac card and my 2nd gpu ever.

Did some research here and found of that its common with Zotac cards.

Looking for RMA experiences in the USA. Was a long term fix? How long was the RMA process. I'm sure it's all 3 of my fans that's causing it. I checked to make sure its not any debris, cords, or the anti sag.

This is very annoying and I probably will avoid this brand.

Edit

6/26 RMA Approved Card sent with UPS $44 for shipping....

Zotac RMA claims Gsync failure & EDID confusion is "normal", and blames me for damages I documented upon receipt of card

My RTX 3080 12GB OC is in extended warranty.
I sent it to RMA (the 3rd time) because my GPU claims the ASUS XG32VC I use (which is a Gsync Compatible certified model) is "not Gsync Compatible certified" and only offers VRR with random black screens on the monitor, while the TV which only has HDMI 2.0 and thus only supports VRR is shown as "Gsync compatible" in my Geforce Software (when in fact "Gsync compatible" requires HDMI 2.1 to work, which my TV doesn't support). The problem persists even under Linux Live, which Zotac claims "proves it is not a hardware error" (what else could be causing a problem that persists across different OS's!?!).

In addition, I already had to send in the card twice, and on the 2nd replacement (after the first was thermally unstable) I received a card with bent cooling fins, which the support claimed was a nitpicky objection, and I should accept it as they wouldn't cite this as a reason to refuse warranty, which I didn't really have any other choice but to tolerate, as there was no point in sending in a perfectly functional card as long as it worked and warranty remained.

Now I sent in the card, and they returned it telling me to "turn on FreeSync in monitor OSD" (it never was disabled), and also claimed "this was normal EDID behaviour". My MSI AMD RX590 proves this is NOT normal behaviour, as the AMD card correctly identifies the monitor as FreeSync Premium Pro (which is basically the Gsync standard), whereas the TV is correctly identified as normal VRR only (FreeSync Standard, which is limited to 60hz).

I then recorded all the flickering black bars across the TV produced by the 3080 in gaming, and sent them the video, and now they claim they can't take the card under warranty because of damages I objected to when I received this replacement card.

Seems I will have to take legal action against them. Avoid buying Zotac at any cost.
