Gpu upgrade zotac magnus one

Hello, I am considering upgrading my zotac magnus one gpu(3070) with sapphire pure 9060xt , 9060xt dimensions are 240x 124 x 46.

I know max allowed gpu is 230mm in length.

I have seen people put upto 235mm gpu in it.

A reddit user also managed 242 mm gpu in it, but he said he removed front panel n made adjustments..

He is not reachable now.

Can anybody confirm it is possible pls ?

First time buying Zotac — good RMA/support in Europe?

Hi guys. I ordered the ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 5090 ArcticStorm. I’ve never owned a Zotac card before. Is this company reliable when it comes to things like warranty claims and customer support, especially in Europe? Worse than ASUS, Gigabyte, or MSI?

From what I know, they offer a 5-year warranty after registration, but I honestly don’t know how reliable the company is overall. I’m from Europe, so I’m mainly interested in experiences with support and RMA here. Thanks for your opinions.

Zotac Arctic Storm RTX 5090 – any experiences?

Hi, does anyone here own the Zotac Arctic Storm RTX 5090? There aren’t many reviews or user experiences . How is the pump noise, coil whine, and temperatures on this GPU?

Are my GPU numbers normal ?

I've done a stress test (Furmark with a score of 12243 )on my GPU and these are the reading during the test on which my concern goes to "PerfCap Reason" , when in idle the reading says "VRel (voltage reliability) " but during the stress test it switches between "VRel" and " Pwr" as you can see in the picture ; is that normal ?

Also my GPU started coil whining just recently (newly bought 3 weeks ago) is that normal for Zotac GPUs ?

GPU:zotac nvidia rtx 5070 12gb twin edge oc white
Powersuply: 700W

Furmark score:

5080 Solid Core OC Replaced Fans, Pads and Paste

Hey everyone.

I just wanted to provide some information that I hope helps others needing to do this.

After about a year of use, several of my fans developed bad bearing whine that gradually occurred throughout the fan curve so I needed to replace them. Upon researching I discovered no one has taken apart this card and documented its disassembly, specifically referencing the thermal pad thickness used on this card since it differs from the regular solid SKU. There was a video on taking off the shroud but not the heatsink and Steve did a Solid GPU teardown so I felt I had enough information to tackle this with ease.

I replaced the thermal paste with Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme and the thermal pads with Thermal Grizzly Minus 8 Pads. I replaced the OEM fans with replacement OEM fans from GPUFanreplacement.com.

A couple of things to note here:

The measurements were taken by calibrated digital calipers. The backplate thermal pad thickness measured at 2.5mm, the cap pads at 2mm and the memory pads at 1mm. I used an Xacto Knife to precisely cut the orientations.

The stories about using the website mentioned above were just about them shipping OEM fans so it will probably happen again. I watched a couple of videos of people unboxing and installing products from them and it was just OEM parts. However, I received a different model than what was in my GPU so maybe the difference in fans provided will aid in their longevity.

Zotac did a poor job on the card’s thermal paste application, which I assume was the leading cause of my poor temps (85C + on load, with undervolt 76C).

When reassembled and tested, I haven’t seen temps rise above 64C with the same tests currently. I have ran a several hour stress test to make sure I had full pad contact and not throttling. So far so good.

Lastly, many might ask why I didn’t go with a RMA request instead of opening up the card. Well one, I like doing these things and they are easy for me. Two, there’s so many horror stories about Zotac’s RMA process these days, greatest hits include damaging the product during repair, losing the product, exchanging the product with a refurb or a different sku, or just refunding the customer MSRP minus proration at times. I wasn’t very confident in the idea that if none of the above actually happened to me, would they do a better job than myself ? Not if they could, but whatever service center it gets sent out to, the employee doing the work might be over worked and do a rush job just good enough to pass QC. I would have gotten a new fan but who knows on the thermals. So I did it myself.

I hope this might help someone else.

5080 Solid Core OC Deshroud

Hello!

I’m trying to recreate this with the exact same card however I cannot find any Etsy listings or Printables files for the case fan brackets to allow them to attach to the 5080. If anyone has any links or anything pertaining to this that would be immensely helpful.

Here is the link to the original post made by someone else on this subreddit:

I'm looking for an authorized Zotac service center in Russia.

Hello everyone! My Zotac 5070 graphics card has broken. The seller is silent, and Zotac support is also silent. I'm trying to find an authorized Zotac service center in Russia so I can send it in for diagnostics and sue the seller. My card is under warranty and only six months old. Many brands, like MSI and ASUS, list authorized service centers where I can go. Zotac hasn't found anything. Does anyone know or have experience with this?

Marketplace Steal

Caught this baby for a deal on FB marketplace. Had no reason to upgrade but moving from a 4090 to a 5090 and it only cost $400 was a no brainier. Sold my “old” MSI Gaming X Trio for $2k, bought the AMP for $2,400.

Open-box Zotac RTX 5070 Ti from Zotac Store for $900. Should I get it?

I’m considering buying an open-box ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 5070 Ti SOLID CORE OC directly from the Zotac Store for $900.

For people who have bought open-box GPUs before, especially from Zotac or manufacturer stores:

  1. Is this generally a safe purchase, or is open-box too risky for a GPU?
  2. What are the main downsides compared to buying new?
  3. What should I inspect immediately after receiving it?
  4. Are issues like coil whine, cosmetic damage, missing accessories, prior returns, or warranty problems common?

Mainly looking for real experiences and advice on what to watch out for before buying this

Order never received - zotac didn't respond

Kind of sad - placed an order on Zotac. Item says delivered with no picture of delivered but I never received it.

Contacted zotac support - no response.

Contacted Paypal and disputed - they pulled in Zotac and Zotac declined the claim.

UPS declined the claim.

Am I just out my $250?

Fan bearing bad? RMA?

Should I send this in for RMA or replace the fan myself? Will replacing the fan void the warranty? Sigh. Everything is working so good then this happened and the noise stresses me out

It’s a RTX 5070 Twin Edge Overclocked Dual Fan and I got it at microcenter in February but didn’t get their supplemental protection plan.

How long does an RMA take?

Edit 2: Omg microcenter doesn't even have ANY 5070s in stock right now. Crazy.

Edit 3: Is it safe to cap the fan speed if I add more case fans?
