Night guard for teeth grinding/clenching?

I searched the thread but didn’t find any similar questions. Any recommendations for a night guard that is more nontoxic? I found Sentinel online which, for a plastic guard, seems to be the least toxic. But figured I would see if anyone here has a better recommendation.

For reference, I am more of a clencher than a grinder at night. I wake up with my teeth and jaw hurting from clenching my teeth. I clench somewhat during the day so I would prefer something I can also use at home during the day from time to time, main reason I was looking at the custom made from impressions kits.

Coolant leaking around thermostat

Hi guys. I’ve had this issue for a while now and can’t seem to fix it. Originally I had a coolant leak from the lower radiator hose and a bad thermostat. Replaced them both and thought the problem was solved and then the water pump went out. Replaced it and was still losing coolant but couldn’t figure out where from. Finally found that it’s leaking out around the thermostat. Thought maybe the gasket was bad so replaced the gasket and still having the same issue. Any ideas how to solve this?

HPV Vax

Anyone have good sources for information about the HPV vaccine? Pros/cons and arguments for/against it are appreciated as well as tips for how to decline it if I choose to do so for my son.

Edit to add: We just got home from his appointment, and in addition to the HPV vac they want to give him Tdap and meningococcal vacs. I declined them for today since I want to do my research first, which his doctor was supportive of, but any info about the meningococcal vac is also greatly appreciated as it’s the one I know the least about. Thanks!

Cleaning Job

I recently started a job for a small cleaning business. I’m only working 1-2 days a week, usually 2 houses per day. The business supplies all cleaning products, so I have no choice what I am using to clean someone’s house. I know there are some specific houses that request natural products but most don’t care. I wear gloves, but what are some other things I can do to lessen my exposure to toxins while working?

Searching for T Rex

My son is turning 11 next week and I have been searching for a year and a half now for a HC T Rex that I can afford to get him. He has the spinosaurus but really really wants the T Rex and has been so patient with me trying to find one that’s affordable. I’ve watched eBay and every other possible website with no luck. I think my max budget is 150 and even that’s pushing it. Any suggestions from any of yall? Thanks for the help.

Affect vs Effect

I have looked up the difference between these two many times but for some reason cannot ever remember which to use when writing a sentence. Anyone have an easy to remember way to differentiate the two?

Gear?

Hello! I am completely new to this so forgive my lack of knowledge. A couple weeks ago my son and I started riding our bikes down our road and back (1/2 mile each way) and taking my Doberman with me. So far I’ve just had him on his harness and flexi leash and riding one handed. Both my dog and I have had so much fun doing this that I am now looking into bikejoring. I’ve done a little bit of looking around online but the gear for this seems to all be super expensive. We live in a very rural small town so second hand gear specific to this is highly unlikely to be found unless online.

So what is necessary and what is not? When it comes to the harness, what makes a good harness for this purpose? I’m about 120 lbs female and my Doberman is 105 lbs, so I don’t foresee having any issues with him pulling me, but how much pulling is the dog actually doing? What other safety issues should I be aware of? My dog knows right and left commands already, “let’s go”, and “slow”, what other commands should I teach him?

In addition, where do you take your bike and your dog for this kind of thing? My short road is fine for a quick job for him but I surely wouldn’t want to run him on pavement for a long period of time.

Thanks for all your tips and helping out a potential newbie!

Is this eczema?

My son is 10 and gets these bumps on his elbows. He will get more of them and then less of them, but they never completely disappear. Usually they’re just white in appearance but sometimes they get itchy and after scratching them they develop small scabs as seen in the photos. He doesn’t seem to have them anywhere else on his body.

What are the crunchy guidelines for hair color?

I have had my natural hair color for a couple years now, and I don’t hate it but don’t love it. I used to bleach my hair for a lot of years and I still prefer myself as a blonde. So is bleaching your hair like totally off the table due to the chemicals? What about other colors?

I want to do a lot of things to make the left half of my house not look like a double wide, but right now I think paint is the only thing in my budget. I really dislike the gray/blue color my house currently is. I was originally thinking about painting the house white but open to other ideas as well. What do y’all think?

Side note: this photo was right after we finished the concrete walkway out front. The grass has since grown in and there is now a fence around the yard.
