I’ve been playing these AmpGuru captures lately, and the response under the fingers is super nice. Anyone else had the same experience?

Recorded a cover of Marty Friedman’s “Tearful Confession” using my ESP Eclipses
The song is has both a clean, expressive section and a more intense lead section, so it was a good test for how the guitar handles dynamics, sustain and lead phrasing.
Tone was done with Neural DSP Quad Cortex using AmpGuru captures.
Always interesting how well the Eclipse works outside the usual heavy context.
Been meaning to write this up for a while. The differences between a Custom Shop and an E-II aren't always where people expect them. The fit and finish is tighter but harder to quantify until you've held both back to back.
The Andromeda finish also deserves its own mention - iridescent colour shift, flawless application on the Custom Shop, genuinely one of the best looking guitars I've owned.
