Took my course in December and finally received my PAL in April.. not one of the fortunate ones to get it within a month but happy nonetheless.

So far I’ve acquired a Ruger 10/22 as many people recommended it as a good beginner rifle. Currently sitting in the HERA Arms H22 chassis, Magpul forward grip and Caldwell bipod. Glass is irrelevant, will likely swap out in future.

All things said it is great but I now want something bigger/ more capable of longer range target shooting.

I have my eyes set on a Tikka T3X Ace target * left handed* in 6.5 creedmore. Paired with a Vortex Venom 5-25x56 FFP. I’m thinking this setup will last me a lifetime and be competitive out to 1km eventually.

Thoughts??
