Are you or someone you know in need of a bassist (or vocalist)? I might be your guy!
I can play a variety of genres, though when I play for fun I lean towards punk and ska. I don't really have any music I *don't* like listening to, so playing something else is no problem to me. I'm not big into the Denton hardcore scene, mostly because I'm new-ish here, but I'm not opposed to trying it out (I *do* have a 5-string).
I'm also a vocalist! though I know the market is oversaturated with vocalists, so I'm a-okay with taking the backseat. But, being real, I would also love playing the bass and singing (background or foreground)!
My only requests are that the band is somewhat chill and not full of assholes. If this sounds like it might fit you, your band, or someone you know, please hit me up to see if we might work something out!
Bands I've been playing a lot of on bass recently: Dead Kennedys, Rush, Green Day, Streetlight Manifesto, Primus (some songs; I cannot play Tommy the Cat), The Arrogant Sons of Bitches, System of a Down
Misc info: I'm 20; I live in Denton, but I'm not opposed to driving to DFW if needbe; I have a job, but I only work either 2 or 5 days a week (2-2-3 schedule, if that's helpful)
Edit: Maybe it's also worth mentioning that I play (and actually started on) guitar! But, to be honest, I'm really bored with writing guitar parts. If you're in need, though, that's a thing. I also played drums in high school but I don't have a kit any longer.
