RFK Jr.’s movement now has corporate sponsors

I read the Politico piece alongside the Bloomberg reporting and the current MAHA Summit agenda. My view is that it makes the access/optics issue more substantial, but it still does not provide evidence that COMP360 or DT120 is receiving preferential FDA review. Those are two very different propositions.

Politico’s framing is broader than Bloomberg’s.

The official September 29 agenda currently places:

Kabir Nath — Compass CEO
Rob Barrow — Definium CEO
Michael Halstead — Helus CEO
Matt Zorn — Deputy General Counsel, HHS

together for “Psychedelic Medicine, the Next Frontier.”

And immediately around that conference are sessions dealing with “Modernizing the FDA,” CMS reform, healthcare affordability, insurance, AI/healthcare and federal health policy. The FDA session currently lists White House adviser Calley Means and acting FDA Commissioner Kyle Diamantas, with Diamantas marked invited/pending confirmation; CMS Administrator Oz is similarly listed as invited/pending confirmation for the CMS panel.

So psychedelics aren't being presented on the fringe of this event. They're embedded in a conference involving the organizations that potentially have to answer the post-approval implementation questions.

Hot Spring spa leaking from small hose at bottom of Watkins Wavemaster 8200 pump

I’m trying to track down a leak on my Hot Spring hot tub and could use some advice.

The tub has a Watkins Wavemaster 8200 jet pump. I initially thought I might have a gasket or pump union leak, but after getting a closer look, I’m pretty sure the water is coming from the small hose/tube connection at the bottom of the pump housing. However, not out of the crimped part but rather the plastic housing part that it attaches to because i see white markings from that of dried chemicals like chlorine.

When the jets are off it trickles down below the housing as pictured, but when I turn the jets on, water sprays pretty hard from that small hose/connection. I’ll attach pictures showing exactly where it’s coming from.

Pump information:

  • Series XP2
  • Pump model: WTO103238
  • Motor: Nidec / US Motors
  • Motor model: T55MWCFR-1288
  • 2.0/2.5 HP
  • 230V

Has anyone dealt with this before?

I’m mainly trying to figure out what if this something that can normally be repaired without replacing the entire wet end or pump?

Also, if anyone knows the name or part number for that hose/fitting on a Hot Spring/Watkins setup, that would be a huge help. I work on my own cars, I trust I can handle this type of repair, just need the parts.
