She dumped me. I went no-contact. Why is she stalking me?
My ex dumped me a couple months ago after our relationship got boring and tense. I should’ve seen it coming, she distanced herself and became colder. I wanted to work on things but she’d clearly already checked out. She developed a crush on someone at work, I found out, argument ensued, she left and that was basically it. We hung out a couple times after to see if it was salvageable and she decided against working things out.
After a grueling month that saw me lose 15 pounds and fall into a deep depression, I’m putting myself back out there, perhaps too soon.
But now that we’ve been apart for a couple months and been no-contact this whole time she’s been weird on social media. Openly watching another ex of mine’s Instagram story to see if we’re dating each other again. A friend of hers just watched my story. I’ve been tempted to break no-contact to ask her what this behavior is about but I’d rather stick to not speaking. I know she’s already seeing other people, why does she care what I do at this point? The bitter heartbroken part of me hopes she’s regretting her decision but even putting that much thought into her actions feels only detrimental to myself and my healing process. Help me understand!
