My course in uni doesn't require any internship so this is something that does not really involve uni's labour office. Is my cpa important and what's the acceptable % I would need to land a decent internship ?

Math with cs/stats/finance. I wanna know if it's worth it locally and especially abroad cause I really want to explore my choices via a Masters degree. I have yet to decide which area i want to expertise in so any and every rec will be appreciated. Thanks.
